Your comments on that "nuclear Navy thing" takes me back to when we were qualifying on those reactors - - a long, long time ago. It surprises people when I tell them I was stationed in the Idaho desert when I was in the Navy.
From a mechanics point of view the low track 9 were the best dozer cat ever produced still plenty of cable blade dozers running around in oz . So easy to work on and no electronics to ruin your day . Set of Murphy gauges and you are good to go
Hey sir great to see another video from you!! One of these days I’ll have to visit your operation there. You have provided me with much needed inspiration and entertainment these past few months that i have been going through health problems and been out of work. Thank very much sir from El Paso, TX...Raul Frescas.
Love your Cats moving dirt. Haven't got to run one since the D8 in 1970! Really enjoyed that summer before I started college for my second year. Keep the videos coming! Tom Sparks, Twin Falls, Id.
Great job and a great machine. Tough terrain for them tracks for sure. It's heartening to witness your respect for the machine. I've just seen a horror show of two cowboys unloading a D8.
Hello I just found your channel and had to subscribe to it I have had a passion for bulldozers ever since I was a kid I love watching them do what they do. Now at 67yrs I can just watch them all day on CZcams. Maybe one day I’ll learn do to operate one of those too. Great job, great channel my friend 👍
Thanks Jeff ! Love the hat and the calendar and the decals ! I’m going to order more in the future. Still waiting to know when Old Kenny is going to be put back together. I would even come out and help. Know how busy you are keep your videos coming. Take care !
Hi Jeff!!! I love your big old 9 iron!!! And I like your constant desire of enhancing it!!! That new turbo kit sounds work really well!!! Saying hello from argentina!!!
Looking good as always. I really enjoy watching your videos Jeff. I work for a excavating company In Lebanon Tn as a grading Forman. Its neat to see the different processes you guys do compared to us for the same job. Stay safe out there Mr Paydirt. Sandon Stinson Lafayette Tn
Thanks for the 9 farmin video Jefferson, it's good to see you and the boys when you're able to fill the paydirt fix haha. I've worked a few jobs where all participants on the property attend muster and stretch and flex.............at the time I was 19 years young and thought it was plum goofy but it really did help me feel better honestly
I need to make me a soundtrack of that D9 running and working, could put me to sleep it's so good ! 😊 Don't abuse your body too much Jay, it WILL catch up with you one day, I can attest to that ! Some good stuff there with tons of steel moving tons of dirt ! 😊 Here's looking at ya, from southern Arizona ! Thanks for sharing and take care. 👍
Was operating for large earth moving company in Australia they brought a brand new D10 one of many they had it was ripping rock sandstone on the hwy between Sydney and the Illawarra region young operator in the saddle and he looked behind when ripping to see the 4 barrel unit sitting on the ground tore it clean off the dozer ! Cat US few a crew out to see how that was possible ! Anyway glad to find your channel cheers from down under NSW !
Howdy Jeff, wanted to compliment your work in the 9 on those ramps looks like you graded them with the blade. And the canal looks like you used feathers, very nice. They don't call us Operating Engineers for nothing.
Reminds me of Ireland, where they had to labor for each square foot of ground to plant potatoes. I want to add that the JPAYDIRT flex fit hat was a little big, I put it in some hot water and then in dryer for 10 minutes and a perfect fit!
Enjoyed this video bro. 75th D-Day commemorations are not far off either 6th June. I have been following a couple of C47's getting ready for it. That UP 4014 looks awesome back running the rails. All the best from NZ
I would have loved to have heard the pipes on that truck singing their song while pulling the D9 along the highway especially when you hit the Jake it would be music to an old truckies ears
Just got a 2019 140 CAT I'll let you know what I think it's got the antler rack and steering wheel instead of joystick. Keep up the great work cheers from a very wet Kansas!
THANK You buddy!! And I know how busy you boys have been but you always seem to pull an awesome vid out of your err um!!Hat!!! Hehehe sickum Boss Man!!👍
Man, that dog trusts you, he's frequently right in there with the moving machines. Never even flinches. I never thought much about what it takes to get one of those center pivots working. I guess I always assumed center pivot country was all dead flat already (generally being the "plains states"). Interesting how it's windblown in behind the rocky sections, makes sense. It's large scale work from the looks of it. Surprised not to see a scraper out there moving the soil around the rocks. Liked the into. If you're going to get nailed for Paydirtorosa, it may as well be Mission Paydirt, Or both. Can you say "See the USA in a Chevrolet"? Oboy, you're in trouble now. I also enjoyed the drone footage, nice view of the work. Careful out there movin that classified dirt -- Man from D.I.R.T., "Men In Yellow" intros? Here in Central NY it's wet too, we're within a couple inches of a record. Thanks!
Been wet and cool here in Manchester iowa finally getting sunshine today. Mother nature is being bipolar for the last few months that's forsure. Keep up the great videos
great video again. just wondering if the face on the d-9 has been in a fight? lol it seems the face on the one side of the blade has gotten quite thin? them lava flows are that tough, could they be drilled and shot? or too much dirt in there? doesn't look any harder than our sandstone here on the east coast.
Hey Jay man I like your videos but this is just my thought you need to put some limb risers on your old D9, there’s just something about them that makes an old dozer look so much better but that’s just my thought anyway brother another great video y’all stay safe and keep the videos coming
Jay Here in Utah we are wondering if we have been annexed to the North West It has rained so much I believe that instead of a garden I am going to plant rice. We have property at 7200 feet where we are trying to build a retirement cabin. Snow or rain take Ur pick we had over 9 feet at our place this winter and still wake up to 3-5 inches in the AM and melts off by noon. Still love it and we need the water. Love Ur equipment Spent 23 yrs in military had 4 D9 cat Rome plows in Vietnam lots of D 7s God Bless U and All that U do from a disabled Vet in Utah Try this name on for size George Gutzmer known as Sergeant "G"
Turn one of those ripper shanks around facing rearward, and you can really pull some sumps out like that. I'm surprised nobody else suggested that yet.
Those trailers are narrow, I don't care for narrow trailers much. A D9G with 27" pads is 117" wide from the outsides of each track. High drives and hoes are wider. A 10' or 11' wide trailer is much better for hauling equipment.
Best get some soil samples to find out just what kind of contaminated conglomerate they have you playing in ! That way you and your boys will have recourse if health issues arise in the future ! Can't help but being suspicious , been around that crap too long and Ive seen how they treat contractors like mushrooms . Stay safe ole Buddy 👍🇺🇲

I started running d8 when I was 16 iam 63 still running big cat d7 still love them god bless yall 😁😉
Super Great Video, with a bunch of D9 action. That's how I like them. Love the heavy equipment action videos!
From a mechanics point of view the low track 9 were the best dozer cat ever produced still plenty of cable blade dozers running around in oz . So easy to work on and no electronics to ruin your day . Set of Murphy gauges and you are good to go
Loved the beginning with the Back To The Future quote.
That D9 is running squeaky CLEAN💖 . . . no wasted/unburned fuel coming out of that stack👍.
Looking good Mr. Jay !😎

cool how you've trained that dog to guide the cat onto the lowboy.good job.
Wow trains, Cats, and open plains, even the maibox superamerican. Love it! Pretty Heavy soil by the way.
Love your Cats moving dirt. Haven't got to run one since the D8 in 1970! Really enjoyed that summer before I started college for my second year. Keep the videos coming! Tom Sparks, Twin Falls, Id.
She's running nice and clean with that new turbo fitted!
Great job and a great machine. Tough terrain for them tracks for sure. It's heartening to witness your respect for the machine. I've just seen a horror show of two cowboys unloading a D8.
I really enjoy seeing that 'Big Iron' work. Thanks for the video!
Nice seeing that old iron still working, awesome work horse of a machine
Gotta love BigBoy 4014 back under steam after 60 years!! Raining off and on again in San Diego, been a damp winter here!
From Australia. When you gonna get that purple beast on the road. I want to see just what that baby can do.
I want to see that thing too. Want to see smoke rolling off them back tires
Man that old D9 is running clean. Nice work Jeff.

Worth waiting for...super video dude. Love to see and hear that old D9 hard at it!
He said "hard dirt",gonna be "tough". Meanwhile, that CAT is eating everything in sight!
Nice to see the 9 moving some dirt. Hopefully things are going well for you guys. Thanks for the video
*Those ripper teeth on the D9 are serious business I tell you. Nice and shiny from lots of recent ripping, that's good stuff.*
Hi Jeff!!! I love your big old 9 iron!!! And I like your constant desire of enhancing it!!! That new turbo kit sounds work really well!!! Saying hello from argentina!!!
4014! Yes! Thanks for including her in the vid Jeff.
Thanks for sharing Jeff love your videos and it`s raining in west Idaho too
Wow your a busy man. Don't blame you.id take Sunday off as well. Good videos.and great job on the equipment. God bless

Glad you enjoyed it

Very nicely done. Fun to watch.
I operated D9G like this in the 1980's, well balanced Cat, set up at 75-80 hp per piston..
They are 385hp or 64hp per piston.
Really enjoyed the footage on the sprinkler field. I've farmed some pretty steep fields but nothing with a ridge like that.
Thanks Jeff for sharing always very interesting 👍🇦🇺
Bog boys and D9 amazing 🤩❤👍
Awesome keep up the good work

It’s nice to see another JPay Dirt video. Thanks Jay. Kudos for Blaylock’s turbocharger on the D9.
Another great video!

First time viewer, like your video from Coolidge, Arizona. 👋
Very clean exhaust switch blade working magic.
What about old Kenny? Got a outline for resurrection?
Very interesting indeed and that old D9G just keeps on keeping on...
Another great video thanks Jeff.
I love a good D9! The trouble I could cause if I had one, maybe someday! :-)
Nice and dry here in southern New Mexico.. we could use some of that rain!
Great video!
Kept looking for a new video all weekend! Thanks!
Looks similar to Central Iowa. Wet. Muddy. Cold. Did I mention wet and muddy? Farmers are going crazy! Great video, Jeff! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for sweeping the rock off.
Oh man you need one of my old tin hats!👍🏾😀❤️🇺🇸
I have a 1949 D2. Has hydraulic blade and ripper bar. Still run good, just a lot smaller.
Can't kill them
It's kinda cool knowing the dozer was working back in the 50's. Now it just sees a little work now and then.
The stack is lookin so much cleaner. Lots of fuel that's not going unused!
Jeff, you certainly have a nice light touch both with your truck, and your heavy plant equipment
Another great video
Reminds me of Ireland, where they had to labor for each square foot of ground to plant potatoes.
I want to add that the JPAYDIRT flex fit hat was a little big, I put it in some hot water and then in dryer for 10 minutes and a perfect fit!
CAT power 💪 awesome video 👍
Can't get any better than a Murray, trailer best ever and if a better one is built Murray will build it,....

Nice work. Here on Long island NY sand eats rollers tracks idles grousers up quickly. Nice to work in soil not white sand.
THa t thing is a beast !!
Super soggy in Kansas Jeff, we’ve have about 6” of rain in the last week and more forecasted all weekend. Keep up the good work!
We could use about 6 inches of rain here in southwest Alabama.
Dustin Logan. Yea I know what you mean. Some rain in the forcast for the next few days, maybe we will get a couple of inches.
Hehehe sickum Boss Man!!👍
Good video. What a difference in the lack of smoke from the D9, it'll be interesting to see the fuel consumption over a long term.
That’s a serious trailer! Thought I saw a stinger on it too.

Most of Missouri has swollen, if not flooded waterways. Lots of places off interstate with closed roads due to flood.
Nice video!!! As always..
"Nick's Garage" another Challenger Genius.
Ha ! A star from Killdozer, great movie :-)
Yeah- Ed Ames - "Given time, the D9'er can make a path to go anywhere on this island".
Ole d9 is a beauty
I know you've been super busy, but thank you for another episode of Jpaydirt. Excellent as usual.

I thought that was one reason they developed explosives?
Blast then push has usually worked well.
Turn one of those ripper shanks around facing rearward, and you can really pull some sumps out like that. I'm surprised nobody else suggested that yet.
Notable less smoke on the 9. This turbo man knows his stuff.
How the hell did the irrigation equipment end up over all that scrub brush? Someone not minding the store?
Thanks Jeff , Another Great Video !
congratulations for the excellent work !!! hug my friend 👍
what a friggin Beast. Reminds me of the 1974 Film "Kill Dozer!"
Nah nah kill dozers are hunting deers and Volvo's on rock face crouching and patient ready for the kill

CAT Power!!!
Should do a history of the truck and trailer
Volcanic lava flows = excavator digging and feeding raw materials into on site jaw crusher. That stuff is gold once crushed. A farmers best friend.
What do they use it for?
I love the sound of a PC motor in the morning.
There is no substitute for Blastingt. Of course somebody has to pay for it
Love the vids
