I've lived here all of my life, 66 years. I'm retired now. I don't go to the beach there anymore, it gets too crowded. Instead I take my boat out of Clearwater Pass and head north to the islands where there's not many people there. I do go to Frenchy's Rockaway to eat on occasion. If I just want to drive to a beach, I like to go to Indian Rocks Beach.

One more thing, Sand Key is a great beach and if you want to walk, you can walk north to Caladesi Island. It's not as crowded.
