- Me riding a 1972 Rob North BSA Rocket3 race bike at the Donington park classic bike festival 2016,
It is a fully P&M built 750cc engine running a 11lb crank and 12-1 compression ratio, for full spec please ask.
What a glorious sound, absolutely stunning !
Man! It sure says a lot when every single guy on the circuit wants to hear the BSA go by!
I was riding a Z1 at a track-day when this bastard three cylinder BSA blew my leathers off. Say what you like, these pushrod museum relics were REALLY fast.
About the same HP but a lot less weight
With high gearing about 165mph with the short gearing 155mph
Good to see it being ridden properly 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The great Percy Tait, Triumph road tester, loved these push rod triples.
Missing the puff of blue smoke on the over run😉 absolutely gorgeous!!
Sweet music to my ears.
Beautiful sound. This and the Honda 6 are just amazing.
Beautiful Noise! Awesome!
I rode a Triumph version during a parade at Brands Hatch in 1989 that was owned by Ozzy. I was racing a 250 Ducati at the time, I tell you what I have never seen the top straight at Brands into Paddock Hill bend disappear so quickly. I actually had to brake for Paddock unheard of on the little Ducati. Decided it was to quick for me as I had only been racing a year. I think the cost of crashing put me off as well!!!!
this reminds me of my Slippery sam rep the sound is just awesome :)
Would prefer front facing camera from the start...great video anyway..
Nice!
Nice to see and hear some throttle. What are the hp and torque numbers?
Is it a P&M frame? and are you running a six speed box?
Angela Edge, it's a miles engineering frame and the bike was built by P&M, it's running a 5 speed box but after racing it this year I would like to change to a six speed for next year.
how fast does she run on the strait!?
JARRETT7121 I'm not sure as only have a rev counter, fast enough to keep me grinning
Stock, that bike will do just around 140. The 3 was the fastest production bike in the world when it was introduced.
