Calgary, Alberta's largest city, is situated where the prairies end and the foothills begin. As such, it is the eastern gateway to the Rocky Mountains and an important centre of trade and tourism for the western prairies. It is your most likely point of access for Banff and Jasper, and a worthwhile destination in its own right. Calgary is the heart of the largest metropolitan area between Toronto and Vancouver, with over 1,239,220 people as of 2016, making it Canada's fourth largest metropolitan area.

Awesome day to drive 👍🏻 Beautiful video ❤️
You gotta record a post 5pm cruise in the Beltline/Misson area. That's where all the people are. Great vid!
I love that contrast at 6:55 of the modern building on the left and the older one on the right.
Yes
Calgary looks like one of the most peaceful and quietest big cities in NA
Lots of homeless and crack heads. I've been robbed 4 times in 2 weeks.

Secure employment first. It's a oil & gas city built on $100.00+ for a barrel of oil. 30% vacancy in downtown since the oil prices collapsed. It's also very big in terms of total Sq miles. Still affordable compared to other big cities. Lived in Calgary all my life. I enjoy the scenery, the people not so much. Wealth, power, materialism still a common trait here. Lots of nimbys, power tripping aholes, manics in big trucks. However Lots of good people too, very young population, kind of a paradox.
Great driving
What cam do you use? What suction cup? & What do you do for wind noise reduction? Thx a lot 😊
So nice video thanks for sharing my friend

I love my city ( Calgary) it’s not big like Toronto but it’s a beautiful city 🤩 full of nice people.
Beautiful city thanks for sharing.
Leaving Calgary behind every time I go home I feel like leaving my own family .Great city
You are welcome Mr Sunday Driver
I love calgary and edmonton
I lived in Calgary for 18 years... I have not seen the downtown since 1999.... It's lost it's soul.
May the YYC live forever
I miss Calgary I moved 7 years ago now and live in Duncan
Place looks bigger than grand rapids mi
Eerie how there is like so little people on the side walks at least compared to Toronto..
A) Calgary never was pedestrian-friendly. B) Downtown vacancy still around 30%. C) Covid
Calgary has a larger footprint than Toronto but with half the population Toronto has, it's a lot less crammed and pretty well spread out.
Also a way smaller downtown compared to Toronto, with the majority of the population living in the extreme North or South residential quadrants, 15-20 minutes from downtown.
Not many people live in the downtown core. Downtown is for offices and work from 8AM to 5PM. Also most office workers are working from home. 8 Ave (no cars allowed) is where most of pedestrians in the downtown core.
A lot more to see in Calgary than those areas though you did show some nice scenery. But if you are going to drive around filming I think you should at least take a moment to blur out other people’s license plates.
Keep it. Why does it matter
fact is, we need better transit. We've got an LRT, but this city needs more.
who else lives in calgaryyy✨♥️
Calgary is the only major affordable city in Canada for current and future generations Canadians and Immigrants. Calgary also has fastest growing tech, finance and film industry. Moreover, Calgary is also world’s cleanest and most livable city. I am already seeing some of my friends and family members who work from home moving to Calgary to buy home and get rid of expensive rental life in ON or BC. We will see more people moving from BC or ON to Calgary in coming years. Calgary is also sunniest ☀️ city in Canada
Lol definitely not affordable anymore . It will be joining the rest of Canada soon .

Don't you mean driving in hell? since I was a kid everyone i know would prefer to park outside of downtown to take the train in because its a nightmare with all the different turns you have to make.
Well you don't need to call the channel Sunday Driver with all the space you leave while driving.
@@saadafsy1057 Are you sure? Do you know everyone?
Pumphouse avenue what the shit
The last minute ruined the video
Tall buildings...no people.
working from home most of them- pandemic and 4th wave
I actually see plenty of people here. I visited Montreal in 2018, it was very different. No people. Montreal had 1/4 of the total people out on the streets than you see here in this video.
Тротуары не убраны, ну захолустный городишко. так себе.
