I hear you, the world now is a complete mess!

Some day it will real. What is unthinkable today might be possible tomorrow. Unbreakable natural rules might have exceptions to be discovered.
This was out when I met my beautiful bride. We are still together and love this song more than ever. Nothing stopped us. Seven children together and now 5 grandchildren. That alone is such a priceless gift.
We are also grateful we have been financially blessed. This was a great time!
It's part of our amazing journey together!

Nothing will and can stop you at all. God bless you.
This song was playing at karaoke night at a bar on my 21st birthday when I first said I love you to my boyfriend. It’s our song. I dream of dancing to this at our wedding one day ❤️
And?
One of “our songs” with my wife….still going strong at 35 years! ❤

Agreed.
I'm glad that i belong in this era..
Proud 80's baby here..
Hi Carolyn, how are you doing today
Lookin' in your eyes
I see a paradise
This world that I've found is too good to be true
Standin' here beside you
Want so much to give you
This love in my heart that I'm feeling for you
Let 'em say we're crazy
I don't care about that
Put your hand in my hand
Baby, don't ever look back
Let the world around us
Just fall apart
Baby, we can make it
If we're heart to heart
And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us
Nothing's gonna stop us now
Oh, whoa
I'm so glad I found you
I'm not gonna lose you
Whatever it takes
I will stay here with you
Take you to the good times
See you through the bad times
Whatever it takes
Is what I'm gonna do
Let 'em say we're crazy
What do they know?
Put your arms around me
Baby, don't ever let go
Let the world around us
Just fall apart
Baby, we can make it
If we're heart to heart
And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us
Nothing's gonna stop us
Ooh, all that I need is you
All that I ever need
All that I want to do
Is hold you forever
Forever and ever...
And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us
Nothing's gonna stop us
Build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us
And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now (Nothing's gonna stop us)
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us
And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now

Great job
Classic 80s, Best decade ever, Great movies, Fantastic Music.
E amores também.
Época que tudo dava certo e terminava bem !
There are certain 80's songs that give me an overwhelmingly painful and bittersweet sense of nostalgia. This is definitely one of them.
I know Right? Great song ❤😂
moto bonita mano
I feel you
Copy and paste job
I get that as a 2000s kid cos my parents
I loved the movie, and the song is timeless.... where are you 80s??? Anyone would like to come with me back to the 80s?
Anytime. Please let me know the departure deck.
Can we make a quick stop in 2013 so I can grab my Mama?
I’m 17 years old and I love this kind of music. especially, when my grandmother always plays this kind of music in the radio. ❤ it’s nostalgic 🥹
i don’t
Your Grandmother has obviously got great taste and has passed it on you you. Kudos 👍
You are a soul from that time reincarnated again here honey!
Youngster. Now I am feeling so old. I could be your grandma,🙃😉
Qué horror, el tiempo pasó!!!! Muchos somos abuelos.... pero aunque el cuerpo envejezca en el espíritu no hay tiempo. La música te hace revivir, renacer.
I remember listening to this song as a young kid back in the 80's.I can definitely say the 80's was one of the best decades for music.
Yes it was. It was the best decade for a lot of reasons, especially cool toys. My 6 year old now sees something old and says "dad that looks like its from the 1980s". It makes me smile. He sees my old toys that I won't let him open and drools over the transformers. He loves the music too, he's a little Poison and Def Leppard fan for sure!
Seems strange that the 80s are now the "old days"!
Nothing like listening to the 80's jams!!
That’s really all I listen to these days..
You should look up Australian music from the 80s!

Same year as me and loved this song back then
I was a kid, I wish I was 5 years older so I could have been in high school in the 80s.
the 90s were not the same. I wish I could have lived the 80s as a teenager or in my 20s.

Missing the 80’s & 90’s
So bad
So sad we don't have songs and movies like this anymore. Truly one of the best songs in one of the best movies of the '80s
Seem to have lost our sense of fun in pop culture. Maybe it's on the way back.
This was not a very good movie though
Totally agree with you on that 😃!
I agree, it is pretty much rap, hip hop I hear anymore in any movie sound track nowadays. Either that Lady Gaga, who to me is more of a Madonna clone.
In our country we still make movies like this
Mannequin was an awesome movie. A great classic. The 80s ruled back then and they still rule today. I'm honored and privileged to have been able to live my childhood in such a great time. The 80s are missed but never forgotten. It will always live on in the hearts of all of us who were there. 80s forever!!!!!!

The 80s were awesome!!!

As a 23 year old I can say this is better than the majority of the music that comes out nowadays
Quite sad, the music now days is kind of good but the heart isn't there, or the effort. Just corporate melodies

I listen to all the 70,80,90,and todays
Claro que sí
We don’t search for old songs,
we search for old memories.
Listening to it today in the car on my playlist. It hadn't finished by the time I had parked at home, so I just sat in my car and sang and listening till it finished. I don't usually do this to any song and guess what, when it finished, I played it again. It actually made me cry on a very deep level. Yes, nostalgia from when I was a kid but it was something more that got me. I've been through a very trying situation the last 7 years, splitting from my partner who I have two children with.( I never listened to this song with my partner so thankfully there is no connection with them.) I discovered many a great things about myself, my habitual behaviours that stemmed from childhood and most of all I discovered what self love is. I mentally have grown so much and for the first time in my life quite comfortable being on my own. ...However, my favourite lines in the song, "put your hand in my hand, don't ever look back" and "put your arms around Baby, don't ever let go", really got to me. Undeniably, there is a feeling that to have someone to go through life's journey, that really supports you, to say things are going to work out and needs you too, harks back to that basic , even primitive origins that we to be in pairs.

The positivity, innocence, and power of this era hits hard when compared to the bankrupt society we exist in today. From the moment this track begins, the energy elevates mood and inspires optimism in the listener. When put side to side with modern songs the sobering hijack of the music industry is stark staringly clear to all.

2024, been rocking this song since the 80s!
Keep rocking it!
The ‘80s were the best for me. My new career was starting to soar and everything was falling into the right places. I felt the invisibility of a young professional that I could do everything and nothing could go wrong. These were the music then and I will cherish the ‘80s era.
Good luck to the new generation and God bless.
This song dominated my childhood. I still love it 35 years later.
Me too!. And what a brilliant era we lived through!.
