  • Growing, giving, and receiving cut flowers is good medicine for whatever ails you. I learned this firsthand from Stevie’s mom's memorial service.
The stories of Ruby sharing my flowers amongst the thousands of pound cakes she baked and shared were evidence of the power of flowers. Sharing them is an excellent ending to a flower's journey.

Love It! We actually started the flowers to help our veggies AND flowers for our Mothers. If you attend Church, your Pastor will know someone who needs them as well! It's worth a thousand bucks of fun to gift them for real!

Thanks Lisa, what a blessing to listen to this podcast while soil blocking in my garage…and thinking of what the Lord might do with the destination of these little seeds. Sowing seeds with a purpose of blessing others to the glory of God- the One who gives life to His seeds!

Boy...this really touched my heart.... Sorry of the loss of Ruby. Good medicine is a real thing for me. Ruby sounds alot like my mom. She always has my flowers on her table, won't throw them out until they look terrible. I've been giving away flowers on the way home from my small market for about 10 yrs. now. I try to find people outside, gas station, etc. Always have one for church/one for mom. My market flowers have really never made me alot of money...but, I guess the good medicine has been my reward....my purpose. Take care all.

    My dearest Lisa,
Please give a tissue warning on the beginning of this podcast. 🥺
I’m walking into the day with happy, poignant, sweet, illuminated tears because of you and your good medicine. 😭❤️
I’m sorry about the loss of your MIL, but it seems she gave one last lesson to you as she left. ❤️🌈❤️
I wish to thank you for the continued inspiration to keep going.
This last month I quit my corporate position and will be launching my own online business at the end of the month focusing on flowers, CSA farming, and making art.
I took your course in 2022 and it completely changed the way I view my service to the world. Thank you.
    ✌🏼

5:33 this is like my co-worker Marlene! 😂 I hired her to help me harvest a few times last summer & she was so baffled the first time I showed her examples of what to "deadhead" (just cut & throw in a pile for compost) & what to keep... she kept saying "What?!? 😮 What is wrong with this one?" & picking them up... I'd have to tell her, unfortunately, they're not at their prime, to sell & still have a 6-7 day vase life. 🤷‍♀️
as much as I hate for flowers to go to waste, I don't have sales outlet mid-week, so the flowers that are ready during that time, go to waste, unless they are flowers that hold on the plant well for several days until being harvested...
