Najee Harris played his last high school game at this years NCS D1 Championship in Dublin California... Shane Perry stole the show with an EXPLOSION of rushing yards... He rushed for a season's best 254 and 3 touchdowns. Najee Harris carried the ball 23 times for 179 yards with a touchdown... I play high school football and when I watch these videos I just don't understand why they do what they do. Like both teams in all these videos make such stupid mistakes. The QBs make horrible reads and throw interceptions left and right, defensive line doesn't work down the line and attack, linebackers don't fill the hole, people don't wrap up with their arms when they hit, don't protect the ball till they go to the ground. I'm not trying to say I don't make mistakes when I play but I mean these schools are big enough to have their games filmed and put on CZcams as we see. So I just don't understand why these players make the mistakes they do if they are so highly praised and sought after. Of course you could argue that these kids are better than the ones I play with and what not and that's why they are making these breakaway plays but if someone where I play made the mistakes these kids are they'd be taken off the field indefinitely.

Well, you have to account for the fact that they are playing competition that are much better than the competition you face. Hence more mistakes.

Not knocking his fringe Najee is a great baller, but he will need a lot of improvement to do the same in college. He won't be going against people who are smaller then him. The linebackers will actually lit him up now
I truly hope Najee uses his time at Bama to educate himself about limiting the expectations that will and probably already are coming at him from his extended family. Do everything you can to get in touch with Tyron Smith and listen to that man about what you need to do and what you have to say no to. Wish you would have come to USC, but I think I understand clearly why you moved across the US. Good Luck Najee and remember educate yourself early, on what you owe and do not owe people.
