Hesh Mehndi, which is actually a product of India. The Indian grocery stores in the US have several brands of Mehndi. We are blessed to have the availability of Indigo powder, Bhringraj , Amla and even Hibiscus powders here in the US.

Hi , after doing the second step of indigo powder, did your here turn black immediately after washing or it turned black after two days after shampoo , pl reply.

Aftet applying indigo powder, my hair turned black immediately. When doing the process for the very first time, I found that indigo application makes hair brittle, rough and extremely hard to comb. Oiling the hair after 2 days of indigo application does make it better.

Indigo does not last very long grey hair show up in one week only, it’s not effective you have to keep repeating the process very often. But yes it’s safe.
