You know. Despite the criticism some people had this was actually a pretty solid game. Very deep character builds without worrying about screwing up ur characters stats and having to start over or beat the game to respec.
For real. The combat, freedom of builds and character customisation was quite solid for a soulslike
This honest trailer sold me on the game more than the actual trailers did XD

@@kuronoroux8864 Yeah one plot twist is that the "horrors" revenants were made to fight are actually the enemies from God-Eater. The mist keeps them out of Vein.
@@hunterclyman4278 and hopefully if/when we get another game it'll take place outside the red mist if the true ending is any indication
I'm not sure if it's exactly same world or a pararel world that humanity don't have God Eater tech.

@@belldrop7365 its silly that people complain about different games that they are different. :) Dark Souls is Dark Souls, Sekiro is Sekiro and Code Vein is Code Vein :) They may share some mechanics but they are different games
indeed, this was my first soulslike and i LOVED it!
All the fanservice was just a exstra :)
Although some of the last honest trailers were a bit lackluster, this one was genuinely entertaining and pretty funny.
Yeah, this guy is really coming into his own.
I haven't played this game but it looks like Tokyo Ghoul, Overlord, Dark Souls and How not to summon a Demon Lord got put in a blender.

I was sold on this as soon as I heard anime Dark Souls
Honestly the game let us having a companion is awesome !!!! Personally im kind of an introvert and shy so i always play game alone, its fine for me but this game gave me the opportunity to roll around with a companion ( though there just AI ) is like opening a new weird ( good ) world. Ppl said they get annoyed by NPC voicelines while exploring but im happy to hear them. And the fact i was a total noob first time playing soul-like games, the companions saved me alot ! Now i can solo bosses on NG+ but still miss going out with them

Having finished my first playthrough recently I gotta say, this is actually quite accurate.

I never knew how op the swords were till my third runthrough in the game...my first runs were nothing but hammers.
If you want to talk about weight...pick up a hammer and try going through this game without the AI on your second runthough...or range skills.
Hammers are rough but the weight when hitting is satisfying :3

OMG this one was really spot on, said everything I think about this game after spend 50h on it.
This was one was very funny and i liked all the anime references during the casting bit

I'm glad HGT is getting better with the voiceovers and writing. Every new video feels more natural than the last. Except for the Starring section, that's still a little lack luster. But still, getting better!
