I have question regarding detecting pregnancy, so my wife did a pregnancy test and its positive. So we want to confirm by going to gynaecologist but her regular is not available so we wish to check it from a new one but we are worried that she will be her gynaecologist for her first trimester then as you said it will be a bit difficult...what do you suggest?

It’s possible to shift from one gynecologist to other, only important point is, you need to inform the new Gynäkologist that you have already taken these tests. Kindly refer the Mutterpass. Also check with your insurance provider. This won’t be a tedious task as you expect. Take care

Best option is to contact your health insurance provider (in TK, you have this option, where you can download the pregnancy app and can search for the English birth preparatory course as well)

You can start researching for the midwife, keep the numbers ready and once your pregnancy is confirmed and approximate delivery date is known- you can start checking for the availability of midwives
