Well, if you are single...you don't need a big apartment. Also the sqm affects the price. Same 2-bedroom with a smaller sqm will be cheaper.

Hello Blessing, please are there schools I can apply for? I couldn’t make it for the joint application deadline.
You have to keep checking studyinfo.fi. some schools will open application in May, August and so on. It's just a case of checking constantly. But note that the best time to apply is in January. The other applications are from schools with high tuition or tough admission requirements.

Yes it is electric and all bills are included in the rent. Student apartments are usually subsidized.
Coming to study in porvoo finland, precisely Haaga-Helia school of applied sciences in Helsinki,can I get a 1bedroom apartment from Hoas and how much will it cost? And what's d distance between porvoo campus to Helsinki? To get an apartment does one need to contact Hoas probably a month before arriving? Or what do u suggest?

Hi Olapeju, Hoas does not provide accommodation for students in Porvoo. I checked the school site and found this: www.haaga-helia.fi/en/housing. You can use the suggested links on their website for porvoo. Porvoo is over 1.5hr from Helsinki by public transport. Also, please note that you have to apply for accommodation as soon as possible as it could take time to get an offer.
Having said that, the price for student accommodation could differ between Helsinki and Porvoo. Hoas offers a 1-bedroom for about 600 Euros/month in Helsinki. It could be more or less depending on the area.

There are furnished apartments too. If you will stay in Finland for a long time or permanently, then an unfurnished apartment is better and cheaper. You are also able to furnish it to your taste. Furnished apartments are advisable for people who intend to stay in Finland for less than a year.

Hi, if you are coming as a student, your school will advise you on that. Different cities have provision for students and you can apply online. If you are not coming as a student, I cannot find an apartment for you because the requirements are more.

This year, the tuition is 9,500 Euros per year, IELTS or equivalent is now mandatary in addition to the entrance exam and application is on now till Jan. 17.

@Nikhil Rathod I used to have but don't know where it is now. However, the bedrooms are 12 sq.m each. The living room and kitchen is very spacious, can't remember their sizes.
