Personally at the moment Cirrus Vision Jet G2 is my favorite, because the quality is soo detailed. The Vision jet looks like it was ported over from real life into the sim, that's how real it looks and feels. Planning a trip doesn't just stop on the Garmin, because i can put skies in the luggage compartment, golf clubs, or regular luggage. I guess it all boils down to personal preference, but it set the bar soo high for quality and expectations from other developers. For only $24.99 FlightFX did all that work. It is the first payware aircraft I've purchased and didn't get any buyers remorse at all. Not to mention they update it consistently.

I haven't flown Flight FX's Vision yet but I have seen/heard good things from the community. Might have to pick it up and see for myself!

Completely missed out on the Leonardo MD-80, lol. Easily one of top three.

I knew someone would mention it lol.
I think the price point of the MD-80 pushes it outside the scope of alot of flight sim enthusiasts. Nearly $80usd for a commercial airliner? And it (at release at least) had several textures that were very poor quality (several other channels pointed this out). Not sure if these have been fixed, but at a price point of a newly released DCS module, I didn't think it would be worth the high asking price for what you get.
To each their own though. I might pick it up on a sale one day.

@@SampleHalo246 No bud. You really need to experience it before passing judgment. I got it on the first day of release. Beautiful machine worth every penny. I would rank them 1 Fenix, 2 Leo MD80, and 3 PMDG in that order. The other two you looked at don’t even come close lol.

Love the fenix a320. Rarely fly anything else…lol.
I didnt even realize that the cabin had differing finishes. I never go back there

Great vid, have the 700/800 PMDG and they are stunning aircraft to fly! The MD80 is also superb and worth the Money. One thing though….the pronunciation of liveries…not heard it said that way before, I had to rewind to make sure I heard it right 😂

From my side the better one is the Maddog, no competiton at all with the others airware

You're the third person to recommend the Super 80. Did they fix the texturing issues that were there shortly after release?
You guys are making me want to get it and give it a go.

@@SampleHalo246 trust me, try it. No texture issues.

I'm flying the XP12, and I have the Rotate's MD80 over there... Do you have any idea how this is comparable to that? I remember having the MD80 in FSX, and it was ery complicated. I mean, really a effort to learn it totally. Very interesting. 🙂 How are the larger jets in MSFS2020? I remember I had allmost all PMDG's aircraft in FSX, including the MD11. That was a fantastic aircraft and was very much ahead of any other payware at the date of its release, 2008.

I don't have the Fenix (for precisely the reasons you countered in your video - maybe time for a rethink...) or the Kodiak (I'm waiting for SWS's PC-12). Of the aircraft I have, I would keep the other 3 aircraft you have in the top 5 (with Flysimware's C414AW in the top spot), and would add Just Flight's Hawk T1 and FlyingIron's Spitfire Mk IX. I'd give a runners' up spots to JF's Pa-28 family (not in my top 5 as they haven't been updated for a while) and Miltech's Osprey.

I 100% recommend the Fenix over the other two. I was flying the FBW yesterday and it's a good airplane, but for a more immersive and closer to life experience, the Fenix is the way to go. I've been waiting for a PC-12 outside of the FS sim store for a while as well. I've heard not so great things about the Carando offering as far as performance goes. I've also had the PA-28s in my cart for months. Just haven't bought them as I keep seeing so many mixed opinions online. Might just have to drop the money and see for myself.

    • @richavery66

@@SampleHalo246 I'd recommend buying the Pa-28s - JF have said that they're being updated in the next couple of weeks. Although the Turbo Arrow is the fastest and gives the choice of the III or the IV with the T-tail, my favourite is the Warrior II as I can relate it to my real-world flying experiences. I'll definitely get the Fenix at some point now - thank you for the suggestion.

I wish someone would make a fully detailed Dash 8 Q400 for MSFS. It's the only aircraft keeping me on Xplane12 atm.

    • @SampleHalo246
      @SampleHalo246  Před rokem +1

I've been thinking the same thing for quite some time. There are a few options available but they don't a warrant freeware download. Let alone the real money they are asking for them.

    • @bRad96699

@SampleHalo 246 yeah the free one don't have the proper cockpit. Maybe flyJsim will port theirs over to msfs.
