  • The good folks at Lekkie were kind enough to send me a box of their latest Bling for the Bafang BBSHD and M625 motors. You can see my first look at them here. These are parts that I have used on my own BBSHD for the last four years and are still going great after 8000 kms. If would like to see more of the Lekkie range you can do so at lekkie.tech/
    I will not be keeping these parts though and I want to use them along with others I have accumulated as well as from the High Voltage community to build out a couple of bikes that can be auctioned off to raise money for Ukraine. Inforation on this towards the end of the video and at the website link here.

    Nice video mate! I have a BBS02 with over 6k miles on it. I also have a BBSHD with 1.5 k on it. I am completely blown away at how good and reliable these motors are. Not to mention the endless hrs of complete enjoyment and fun they have provided me.

    Beautiful kit. I run the Lekkie stuff as well on my BBSHD.
    Guys, a nuance is...and I am tallish...with a motor, you don't want or need long crank arms. Lekkie makes 160mm length 'Buzzbar' cranks which are transformational for pedaling your ebike...take a lot of pressure off of aging hips...I come from a cycling background. Highly recommended.
    Love the content of this channel which is state of the art in the world of performance ebikes and I look forward to all your builds.

    Lekkie engineers & makes great products! I have there 40t bling ring kit on my bbso2b build & my bbshd build with there 5mm spacer & onenut because my bikes are 73mm bb. I like that they have the integrated chain guard. That color is called Slick by the way, pretty cool looking! I also like that there gear covers have a grease hole. I have had no chain skip since installing Lekkies narrow wide pattern & my chain line is great thanks to them! 👍😁👊

      @@HighVoltageKits very true, can I ask, do you know if the shift sensor is meant to flash red continually and green when a gear is selected, having an issue with the motor not engaging occasional when selecting a gear, I then have to shift up and down for it to kick in again.

      @HighVoltageKits  Před 2 lety

      I'm not 100% sure. Mine does not have an LED. You could try asking on our Discord. What is the brand do you know. It's mechanical in operation so might be the wheel inside is getting gummed up. You might be able to lubricate this.
