Introducing Dr Russo 🎓 We’re so pleased to welcome Alessia Russo, England and Manchester United striker and European Champion, into our Canterbury Christ Church University family, for her incredible professional achievements, bringing it home with the Lionesses at the Euros 🦁🦁🦁 and for being an inspiration to girls and women in sport ⚽️
Maidstone-born Alessia received her Honorary Doctorate at Canterbury Cathedral on Friday 27 January, in a series of ceremonies that saw over 1000 Canterbury Christ Church students receive their degree awards in front of family, friends and the University community.
