Hearing Pat's acoustics and Lacey's vocals always find a way to make me cry and smile :) In my opinion, Lacey always shows emotion in all her songs but I've never heard her AND Pat sound like this till now..It's really beautiful :)

So beautiful. I usually don't like acoustic versions of great songs like this one, but this is the only acoustic version of a Flyleaf song I've heard that I really like. Unlike some of their other songs, this one translates really well to acoustic. Oh and in case anyone doesn't know, Lacey wrote this song about being saved. Spiritually as well as physically. So it's no wonder she gets emotional. It's kind of a big deal ;)
no tabs, but the tuning is drop d, and on the first chord you bar the second fret up to the d string and sound the 4th fret on your E and A strings, with your pinky on 5th fret B string. Second chord simply bar the entire second fret and lift off the 4th, still keeping your pinky on the 5th fret B string. 3rd chord is D9 I believe. hope that helps
Well m y friend is REALLY struggling right now with spiritual issues, and I know fly leaf isn't a Christian Rick band, but Lacey once put it as they're a group of Christians who let what they believe in play out through their music...so I thought I'd send him this way. And I thank god for this band. I haven't listened to them in awhile, ever since lacey left, and I've forgotten how much I loved them
@GloomySunset Yeah, she/they are so intense for sure! :) She's so intense/moving/moved because she's worshipping God & when you've been rescued by the love of God, like Lacey & I have been, it/he moves you to tears/intensity of joy/passion! :) And, yeah, it is thickening - God thickening the air she's breathing. Lacey & Flyleaf are amazing, how perfectly they express their passion for the God who saved them! Listen to some of their interviews - that's all it's about for them!
anyone have the tabs for this version? It's obviously dropped D but the way he plays it is F#m7 to E7(Not A as I have found in most versions) to D5/Dsus2. I can't figure out what he's doing the first half of the chorus. It's killing me!
They are defenitly a Christian rock band, I mean just listen to these lyrics. She says she "can feel you all around me." That "you" is obviously God. And "savoiring this heart that's healing"? It's God that has healed her heart after giving her life up to him.

No. The second video, they talk about how their faith is reflected in their music, not about how it's promoting Christianity. Their objective wasn't to convert people into Christianity. And a Christian band does that.
They are definitely a Christian rock band, seen them live recently and every other song was dedicated to Jesus or God. Felt like I was in church (skin started to burn!) lol

RicardoRedefined actually sorry to tell you this but telling of the love and confessing their faith that Jesus is in fact their Savior...that does make them Christians....and some "Christian bands" aren't pointed towards the Christian population, the words are clean, so in a way it does convert.
