Going outside of No Russian was really awesome!! There are a few hidden rooms as well as numerous game mechanics to check out. Also seeing how different it is from Terminal, inside and outside the map, was pretty cool too. I hope you guys enjoyed watching as much as I did making it!

Whats interesting is a lot of these out of bounds areas are used in Warzone to make the map fuller with more to do. They just edited it to make it playable. This is Airport.

One thing you did miss was that you can hear a baby crying in one of the women's toilets if you go up to the door, I think it is a toilet that is on the ground floor or one near one of the restaurants. Great video nonetheless.
Generally developers use a model A-posed to help make the maps to scale.
I love how you said batches, almost like the game is cooking up some targets
As a low budget indie filmmaker the civilians just spawning or freezing into place makes total sense. It reminds me of actors staging and blocking with their own positions. Like they get into position as well and then when action is called they start running as well. With a mod like this it's like you get to have a behind the scenes POV and see how things were done as well.
18:50 I can definitely see that being an alternate path that they cut early-to-midway through development. Seeing cops outside firing at the player through the long window in the terminal would make for a cool scene. I image they moved it outside for more room and change up the feel so you wer're running around inside the airport for the entire mission
I love your videos man and this is my favorite mission in mw2
So basically it's easier for your system/game to already have something or someone loaded in prior to it appearing where needed. So the devs will have it loaded in, out of sight completely until they need them either in game or during a cutscene, then they instantly teleport to where the item or person is needed.

Also, with the bathroom at 5:22 if you stand outside the woman's bathroom long enough, you'll hear a woman AND a baby crying in the bathroom

6:01 - This feels like something that's done for filmmaking as well. Have your talent out of frame and on a signal they start running or doing whatever you need them to do, but the shots are setup and edited together where it flows naturally.

I have some experience with the WaW and BO3 modtools to know that there pretty much is a death barrier brush. But its called death_volume in WaW and might be the same for BO3

There's actually a cut cutscene in the very beginning of the mission during the black screen. Makarov grabs one of the dudes by the neck and throws him on the wall. The same animation can be found in the museum at the mission select screen where Makarov is on display at the airport

You can go into the unuse Area without cheats get to the edge and jump of the Roof and on to the window ledge abd enter it make sure all enemies are dead.

You can do that yourself with pc without any kind of modification to the game

the reason rooms and hallways and things stretch so far is line of sight. they use a tool that shows line of sight when doing walkthroughs and try and fill in that line of sight area and then some just incase.
Game dev leaves an apple under the map.

- Noclip helped you see details of the inaccessible places at the airport where the rest of the people who survived the Zakhaev airport attack hid.
* Some say that the airport according to the MW universe is the Moscow International Airport and remodeled? Fake.
⚠ Google Maps:
According to the game's story, the airport is new and in real life does not exist on Google Maps due to artistic inspiration.

@@ThatWasAwesomeYT No rush! I've just never seen ANYONE explore the WW2 zombie maps and I just KNOW there's some secrets
Why did they kill the people
To put the blame on the US, as this mission essentially causes WW3. Since at the beginning of the mission, you're an American pretending to be a russian to help out makarov, but end of the mission you get shot by him, the russian military/police find your body and think the americans did it.
