Glass bead gel raised stencil I no you will make it so beautiful and different then Normal just raised you are so so creative thanks for the videos
You could use a stamp I seen the roller stamps on the stuff you put on walls I bet you could do that with concrete and use regular stamps maybe I don’t no how concrete works oh you could get iod tubes from transfers then get plaster of Paris or concrete and then take a sock and soak it and put it around the tube of iod tube to make vase I seen someone do it with A sock and cardboard I bet you can do it to iod tube
Thank you for sharing your mistakes, too. I was wondering if you ever made a mistake, your projects always come out so great.

Subscribed. I used turmeric mixed into paint, talc, & baking soda to make a paint color that looks just like terracotta. It goes on yellow but turns terracotta when dry. I love how you used cinnamon & nutmeg to "spice up" your stone look.
Great projects! The process of getting texture and shading is so much fun. Just a suggestion on the lampshades--use spray adhesive to get the fabric to lay flat. Also, use seam binding or a bias cut piece of cloth to cover the rough edges at the top and bottom of the shades. It gives it a neater appearance.
So beautiful & natural looking
This is still my favorite video. ♡
Came back to watch it again today.
I love how you just dive in and do it, I always have it in my head, no you can’t do that you’ll just mess it up. I’m inspired to start diving in...I think!

Loved this. Now I wish I hadn't gotten rid of a few lamps. I will find another.
I was cleaning out the attic and found an old ginger jar shaped lamp from the 80s/90s? and was thinking of donating it. Then I went online to look at purchasing a new lamp for my studio. I'm so thankful I watched your video. Now I can repurpose my old lamp and it will be perfect for that space. Thank you so much for walking us through this.
Yes, I am.
You are a book full of ideas!

JoAnn here...love your stream. You have an artist's soul!!!! Thank you for sharing ❤️
I really like the texture you ended up with using the paint and the spices. fun to watch
An old lazy susan is a great painter's helper. Using concrete patch is an inspired idea. Love that.
Would never have thought to use cinnamon or any other spice for this. Great job looking forward to trying something similar and incorporating some of your ideas!
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy today's new video! ❤️🎨🙏
Inspirational. My brain is spinning I can’t wait to Thrift shop
When doing a lampshade, you need to iron the fabric first to get the wrinkles out. You can make patterns by applying aluminum foil to the metal cage of the lampshade. You could then sew the edges together, trim them down and pull the fabric over the metal cage. This would also allow you to have contrasting panels simply by choosing different fabrics. Bias tape can create a neat finish on the inside of the shade. I have also used sanded grout left over from a bathroom project to cover lamps. I have enjoyed watching your videos. Thank you for extending my knowledge of paint techniques and for hours of entertainment.
Ciao grazie per aver fatto il tutorial scritto in italiano sei bravissima 👍 👏 👏 👏 👋 da Napoli

I was so inspired by your tutorials that I went to the thrift store today and picked up 2 lamps to refinish! Can't wait to play! You do beautiful work!
So awesome to hear!!!! Have fun! Let me know how it goes!!!!! See you Saturday!! 🎨🙏❤️
When I cover a lampshade in fabrics of my choosing I use spray adhesive. Experiment on a sample before using on your chosen item to achieve experience in even application and to understand how to apply fabric quickly as the adhesive almost as cold to touch as hot ice.
Hi Genevieve!! Thanks for the tip!!! I did not know about this!! What brand of spray adhesive do you use? ❤️🎨🙏
I don’t remember the brand. I upcycled my lampshade covers with aboriginal fabrics for my B&B in Central Australia 5 years ago. One thing though, I had to apply the fabric quickly after spraying the lampshade because it was painfully cold to touch. I think you could use any fabric and vinyl spray adhesive and experiment first.
@@TheReclaimedHeirloom Don't use a heavy-duty spray adhesive because the spray could soak through onto your lovely linen. Use a lightweight craft glue, such as Elmer's which you can find online or any craft store.
Loved your project.I will do with my lamps. Thanks .
You did a fantastic job. The results of the small lamp is my favorite.

I loved them all but my favorite is the mirror.
Love the stone look so natural and goes with so many styles
Perfectly timed Video! This is also my “Mental Health Break” project today using various glass bottles and vases. Some with texture to resemble aged stone and some smooth finishes for a more modern farmhouse vibe for my daughter.
Hey Tonia!!!!That is so nice to hear you are trying this technique out!!!! Yes this is a good mental health break activity!!!!! Thanks again and see you next week! ❤️🎨🙏
@@TheReclaimedHeirloom: Yes! Although, I use the Baking Soda mixed into my Chalk Paint method for quick texture and painting, then I use Dixie Bell Dirt or a combo mix of Cinnamon and powdered chocolate for aging/distressing. I got five projects started, one completed with the remaining drying. It was a peaceful day. 😁
LOVE!! I'm trying this today on some old ceiling chandeliers that I saved after we changed into new ones for our house. 🥰
Wonderful! Let me know how it turns out! ❤️🎨🙏
Beautiful lamps. Thx for sharing. Always enjoy your techniques.
Stunning. A+
Thank you I just love these 😇🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Glad you like them!🎨🙏❤️
Ohhhhh it’s Just MAGNIFIQUE
Love how you covered the lampshades with fabric. Great idea. I'm going to look around for fabric now. Recently moved, and the movers cracked all my lampshades. That's an idea. You are so creative, have so much energy, and are fearless, it's inspirational to me. I'm naturally more reticent, because I'm hard on myself if things don't work out. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much!!! Glad you enjoyed it!!!! 🎨🙏❤️
Very pretty. Thanks for sharing.
Just found your channel; am so in love with your DIYs and your voice is everything! New subscriber here.
Great tutorial. I was concerned about the powdery spices creating an unstable foundation for the spackle on the small lamp. Nice upgrade. Thx for sharing.
Unbelievable transformation. Can’t wait to see more of the updates of your home🥰🌻

Looks fantastic and so authentic. Love your work! 💕
Your lamp makeovers are perfect for some family heirloom lamps I need to beautify. Now, they will be moved from storage back to where they belong. Right after I make a trip to Lowe's for concrete patch. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and talent.
Hi Redpill! Thank so much for your kind words! Glad to help!! the DAP Dex Spackle is also great to get. I found it dries fast than the concrete patch and cheaper. Give that a try. I am looking forward to sharing next week the finished concrete vase!! ❤️🎨🙏
