Another lawsuit for Fullerton? First, CA law limits the use of these (is swinging a belt an immediate threat to public safety), why couldn’t they use a ballistic shield. Also bean bag training for officers says they should avoid the chest and go for the naval area, legs, or arms. There have been successful lawsuits when people survive and are shot for swinging a broom handle. Good luck FPD.

If the guy is on LSD, good luck having 3-5 police officers trying to subdue him with a shield or anything for that matter.

@@ocdodger again the state passed laws recently regarding these types of weapons. Previously they could be used when the officers felt it was unsafe to approach, now it is anyone who poses an immediate public safety threat. Dancing around while probably on something may be annoying, but $3.75 million was awarded to a man who survived and asked LAPD to shoot him in the confrontation.

Thank you for having some compassion Rick . That is my uncle and he was definitely fighting his own battles and demons before he started doing drugs … some people lack empathy and don’t know what people struggle behind the scenes not saying doing drugs is okay but we truly never know what one goes through until it happens to you

At this point, here at ( 2:10 ). Why is he still handcuffed for? ( SMH )
Law Enforcement knows that CPR can't properly be performed on a person who is laying on top of
their own handcuffed arms. Yet many officers still try & attempt to perform it anyways in front of
the cameras. Just to pretend that it's a genuine effort on their part to save the life of the handcuffed suspect.

They killed him with the bean bag pellets. At close range it would go through a humans skin! After he stopped at the door hunched over why did he shoot another time? He's obviously not in his right mind, but once you subdue the guy and he's standing still and leaning over why do you shoot again?

Not meant to be shot at someone’s chest. Legs, arms, or naval area. It was confirmed the last round hit him in chest.

Those aren't considered non lethal, they are considered less lethal because they are less likely to deal fatal damage, but are definitely capable of killing... obviously.

Dang, a beanbag made him leak out like that!
How is this considered as less lethal force? ( Just a lil sidenote though.
If I had to guess the substance that this man was on. I'd guess either PCP or some bad LSD. )
