Tyrone, you said it!! This is like the old school platform era. And this games back in the day were meant to challenge. The two games from back in the day was the very first Mega Man game, Contra, and Kid Icarus. I loved playing Cuphead, it brought back so many memories of true gaming satisfaction when beating each boss. Just like in Bloodborne and the Dark Soul games. You get your money’s worth with games Like these.

On King dice, you roll the dice to move x number of spaces on the roulette board in the background- one of the spaces (the one right next to the final fight) sends you back to the start. That's what its showing in all the dice clips :b On the pink ghost levels, you have to parry the ghosts before they reach the urn in the center or you instantly lose.👍

As of right now it's on the PC, MAC, Xbox One, and NOW Nintendo Switch...BUT NO PS4 yet.
Cuphead you could say it's an old platform but with a new design and newer mechanics that make it quite a harder game compared to older platform games. Especially that it changes gameplay style quite often as well which breaks your concentration sometimes. The game may be all good looking and fun to watch, and the "platform" style seems easy, but make no mistake, this game is freaking hard. And also, this game get's significantly harder with two players.
When it's release on switch maybe I'll try it.

I've played Cuphead. I've gotten to the 4th (or 5th?) level (not counting side missions). It does not have a difficulty level selector. It is a good game, but it's one of those trial and error shooters, like Contra. It's tough, but definitely beatable.

Played Cuphead--love it. It's a really fun game, definitely recommend it. That said, the difficulty is vastly overblown...it definitely is not the "Souls" of platformers or whatever people say. Don't get me wrong, a few of the bosses can be very challenging (Beppi the Clown, Grim Matchstick, & Dr. Kahl's Robot for me), but persistence in this pays off a lot more than in Souls, since patterns in this game are way easier to pick up on, even for an "average" gamer. A lot of the deaths you see in these compilations seem to come from impatience and unfamiliarity rather than sheer difficulty. This is just my experience though, and I don't speak for everyone obviously.
Cuphead isn't as difficult as a lot of people say it is. It just takes some concentration.

just play on computer, its a great game and it is not hard when u grow up in the 90s and it has easy difficulty but u need to play normal to beat it, it also has hard mode u unlock for beating it on medium and also a pacifist mode for jump and runs and a rating system so i suggest all P and S ranks on hard please! I don't get the rage about Start Over on King Dice. You can just go through the same bosses and you don't need to fight them again, they are already cleared. So what's the problem?
