The displacement of that 6-71 is nearly the size of that 13b😳. Black box I use them on my Air cool engines I never thought I ever seen someone using them on a Dorito power.🤔👊🏻 but again I'm not a bad ass builder.

The Rotary motor
With today's advances in technology and durable materials availability could be made very reliable even more so than previous models .
It is a very unique motor in every sense
It's look it's function it's very distinct sound and performance characteristics .
The Rotary motor will make a mainstream comeback in form of electric power.
No matter what you do it still is a tiny engine that makes up for lack of torque with shit tons of rpm. You can try to argue with me about this or that but you have to look at the facts...
1. It eats it's self , the more you run it the more it slowly eats it's self.
2. It's not very efficient at all . To make any sort of power you have to cram 30 psi of boost down it's throat.
3. Have I mentioned the oil it DRINKS?
The Wankel is a grand idea on how to do something different, if it was so awesome why is it not in everything on the road?

They are not efficient, the fact that it requires boost proves that statement. If it can't produce the power per cube without help then it's not efficient.

About Dang Time!!! Building a Supercharged Arctic Cat 295cc wankel rotary off a old snowmobile using a tiny Eaton M-24 supercharger off a Benz, which is a bit on the larger side of the engine in its output displacement, but it's going to be under driven a little to start off with until I can see what kind of boost pressures are obtained under load and WOT conditions. I originally was going with a tiny Turbo and had to step back and rethink this whole thing, rather than having Turbo lag and not taking full advantage of all that torque a rotary engine builds at lower RPMs, it be really kind of useless at lower rpms awaiting the boost to build up. When you can have direct displacement of a supercharger, you'll be making much more low end torque and without any hesitations between spooling of a Turbo. So yeah I thought I was the only nut case in this world who was going super over turbo on a rotary engine??? BUT I guess not Now lol leave it to these guys down under! They will lead you to succeed in the rotary World! Cool video and even cooler looking supercharger sitting on the Mazda rotary! Looks and sounds awesome! Sounds like its so much more healthier at idle like I was hoping to hear too! She's a happy engine being force feed some air and fuel at every rpm! Nice! 😉

My neighbor had a blown 13b in his 4 door RX3 in the 80s. First one I ever saw.
supercharged rotaz are kool :) he said 2020 is the year for rotary burnouts, that made me happy, can't wait to see his cars out there on the burnout pad hey :)

@@misfirerotary definitely keen to see a camo7 skid :) i've been thinkin' a bit lately on what would be a good base engine for burnouts & i feel a semi PP with mild street ports would be a good starting point, reliability while running super hot is key in burnout comps, when the seals slide past the side ports the ends of the seals have a moment to kool with the cool air/fuel coming in but not so much the centre of the apex seal so with a semi PP the centre of the apex seal will also get more of a chance to cool also, i feel that would be the ideal design for burnouts, just my random 2 cents hey, haha, camo7 looks like it would be an animal on the pad i would be getting some private burnout pad time before hitting the pad to get a feel for it before it's first outing, some future vids or updates on camo7 would be kool too hey :)

A pair of 6-71's would Be awesome making boost and barely spinning, should be close to as efficient as a turbo, with boost at idle, seems I saw something with like 10+ psi at idle the other day, and did well, mean looking machine!!

@@misfirerotary I have worked on all makes and models for the past 25 years, I understand how the Wankel works, I understand the weak points and the strengths . To me it seems like the perfect drift car engine and it would work good in power boats. It just feels easier to make four times the power from a boosted LS engine and way cheaper with more reliability, honestly I would think a Ford 2v mod motor might be cheaper to build than a five hundred horse/ 200 lbft Wankel.

Odd combination. Your efficiencies are all backwards and fighting each other? Like I get why you would supercharge a rotary for low end torque, but a blower is Soo ineffective past 6k...
That's the point it only needs to rev 6k
@@rickybobby7326 so you're leaving 3-5k to rpm on the table you can't effectively use. The part rotaries make their most natural power. Plus the fact blowers take 100hp and that increases as rpm does also because like i said efficiency goes down as rpm goes up. Where a turbo takes half the power to spool and after initially spooled its 100% efficiency as long your turbos are sized correctly. You catching up to what I'm trying to say now?
