About Nick and England, Nick seems to be really naive and a tad clingy, clear as day that the guy wasn't interested and was just dragging it on, it gave me the " I don’t love you I just want the attention" kinda of thing, I'd moved on in the first vague answer, I just dont have the patience lol
Totally that was very cringey. I don't think Catfish should have helped with this one, 2 months doesn't seem long enough to get a TV show involved 🤔
England isn't a good person. Admits to jungling people and deceitful behavior. Constantly telling Nick he'll see him. Responding to him, say he's interested, but actions say otherwise. Nick is naive but doesn't deserve the emotion Rollercoaster. Hopefully, he learns from this mistake
The only time I was disappointed in a Catfish episode was meeting nick, they were only talking for two months! Way too short, they wasted this man's time with a fake cleaning appointment and then drilled tf him like he was a bad guy, Idk if they were even that into each other

England was so shady lol. West Virginia is not a 2 hour drive from Vanderbilt Pennsylvania, it’s more like 4.5-5 hrs away.
Tbh there was also responsibility on the white guy to see that England wasn’t that interested. You know? He didn’t lie about his looks, he didn’t scam him, he was "just" emotionally unavailable. I don’t see abuse but someone who’s anxious pursuing someone who’s avoidant. Putting in on this show makes me feel like the white guy was pressuring him, whereas he ideally should have just left it.

Anyone else think that Catfish is mad entitled and invasive, how they just pop up on people and expect responses immediately? That's so wild to me. Y'all seem to be so cool with that and it's weird.
They don't really "pop up". Nev and Max pop up, but the catfish is paid to appear before Nev and Max have even figured it out. They act nervous because they are, but it's not a total surprise because they already talked to the investigative crew beforehand. This show wouldn't be on air if they popped up to people's houses and put them on blast unblurred.
You have to sign a consent form to be on tv. Some of it is scripted
