Random mobs in the middle of nowhere that nobody knows about, set to gank you as you run past, likely from a quest that was never finished being designed. I love classic.
That lvl 12 troll has a purpose. I think itâs the rogue quest, but canât remember fully. Same with those patrols, all of them have some quest if they are named.

There's a handful of unfinished quests/locations, so who knows. So much obscure vanilla stuff.

One of the best things on the official HC servers is that there is no corrupt appealcore.
That being said... If the server crashes, if Blizzards server crashes. They should do a rollback to like 5mins before the server crashed.

When you get past level 40 or 50 and you die to fall damage or a disconnect.. take a deep breath, make some tea, and contemplate how you are wasting your life away.
Im suprised by how the first guy who invested way more hours into his character, had the most chill reaction. Meanwhile the mainstream streamers yelled for dying at level 10-15 which easily takes you less than 10 hours of investment.

can confirm mobs are supposed to de-aggro if u get disconnected. has happened to me twice now while im dual boxing a warrior and a priest. both times mob lost aggro on my DC'd account.
I only see one undeserved death (the hunter dc). The rest I'm just like: "Good, less chance for them to ruin dungeon runs."

While questing in a party I got DCed in the middle of an enemy camp. I was offline for maybe 5 or 6 seconds, when I zoned back in, instead of joining the layer of my party where we'd cleared all the mobs, I was put in my own layer and instantly aggroed like 8 mobs. Luckily earth bind + ghost wolf saved me, and as soon as I left combat I was transferred to my parties layer.

I died from the 3 elites in Loch Modan at lvl 16, i was afk for literally 10 seconds standing by the quest giver, i noticed my swingtimer pop up, i bubbled and ran but they got me.

Is being used for this type of play. Makes it so fine. Takes days to get to his level. Lets remove all that progress and start over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First guy, exact situation happened to me. I was level 19 almost level 20 and was just walking through Barrens toward camp taurajo and noticed things weren't moving. Literally took 2 whole minutes, 130 or 140 seconds to resync the game and I never officially disconnected. Everything was just paused but me. Turns out I had aggroed a stormtusk lizard while I was "disconnected" so I died but when thr game loaded I was dead on the road like 1500 yards away and just appeared in the town, dead on my screen. Combat log knew what happened, I didn't- until I read it that is.
Blizzards servers are hosted on chromebooks. You can't convince me otherwise

Most of these people forget the #1 rule of actually playing HC: it's a marathon, not a sprint. Take it slow, mob by mob, safely, steadily, take NO risks whatsoever, never be greedy. Just.... go.
After all most of them are actually playing for content - there isn't a single chance in hell they will reach lvl. 60.

I have a near death on my Priest at that EXACT same spot as Hozito. The mana burn hits way too hard.
Why pet on passive? Isn't defensive stance preferred especially for situations like this? Passive better in dungeons, but if you dc there your party can help protect you right? I don't see why you wouldn't keep your pet on Defensive in HC
I always did play with pet on Passive, and use hotkeys to control pet. It helps to have total control yourself, and not rely on Defensive / Aggressive stance. It makes sure the pet doesn't run off and do something silly.

if you dc with pet on passive your pet will just do nothing and watch you die, compared to him helping and saving your life on defensive

you can just walk out and skip those quests.
I have had 0 issues getting mob tags, and when it's a little hard you are allowed to group.

It makes perfect sense , they care about their servers , this is a passion project for them and have a community that moderates what happens . Blizzard on the other hand doesn't give 2 sh!ts , they just want to cash in because of how popular this is , they know people will play on it and no matter to what bs you die to they are not going to care one bit .
I would never play hc on blizzard servers , imagine dying to a dc , if a death is warranted sure but to die on something like that , something you wasted possibly days playing ? That is a hell no from me . Blizzard has been sh!tting the bed for such a long time and people still support them , well you get what you deserve then I suppose . Just look at Diablo 4 and what kind of mess it is . Blizzard just doesn't care anymore because people are stupid enough to pay even when their games are broken .

I honestly feel like bliz should redeem the first guys character. An appeal system of some kind for disconnect and what not. Especially if you have the footage
Best way to do is : if u DCed out in combat you will die if you dont log back in 5 mins but if u log back u continue where the fight was , basically 5 min immune to dmg but if no log back u die .
cooldowns must stay aswell .
I wish when DC'd in combat it will teleport you to tavern and deny for playing ?? 24h to prevent abuse. I'm Died to BSOD yesterday ;(

To all rogues: donât you think hemo is best spec for hc? 2x vanish 2x blind you never pull too much bc you donât have aoe so thereâs no point in tanking 2 at a time, also better stealth improved sap etc.. unless youâre raiding I think hemo spec is bis.

I know I'm no streamer, but why do these guys insist on going after mobs of higher level? It's not too hard to farm a level or two -- especially early on -- and always be ahead of the game. Granted there are a sparing few quests where it is worth the risk to go for a higher level quest for the insane rewards, but otherwise the risk/reward is nil. Maybe I'm just too conservative?

Eh on private and classic servers almost all my deaths are disconnect and server lag server side but I will agree most people die to just bot thinking

My main Mage died at lvl 9. I tried to take on Ressan the NeedlerđI had 29 silver on me ,I was going to send it to a bank toon, but I got side tracked and thought ,I'll do it after I finish this quest... learned my lesson. Now I send $ and mats to my bank alt Immedietley if I don't need it right then, My new Mage is lvl 13 with 1 gold and 30 silver. And I do have a back up toon for later.đđ€Ł

Ranged attacks canât be blocked, parried, dodged, only missed.

@@gregorykarimian3813 only ranged work this way. Spells have a chance to miss (it says resist), or be resisted (partially or fully, when it also says resist). Resist chance I think is based entirely on the levels of the players and their resistance to that magic school.
