You better "tameg" that planet! We would expect nothing less than its complete "tamegation!"
Tameg must be a welsh condiment of some kind...
Aavak knows some Norwegian and tameg = ta meg translate to take me, it doesn't actually fit but sounds somewhat funny.
And yeah, the sun on Mars does not go direcly overhead. The plane the sun lies on is tilted off normal to the surface, so you need to have 2 axis tracking on the solar panels if you want maximum efficiency. The maximum efficiency of solar panels is also lower on Mars, IIRC. 90% or something like that. BTW, you can have the basic solar panels inside a glass box and they won't take damage from storms (as long as the atmosphere inside the box is different enough from the Mars outside atmosphere, I recommend vacuum, since the box will get very warm otherwise from the sun adding heat to it).
If you want to use the solid fuel burner to burn some coal you will need to have heavy cable into the battery, since it gives out 20 kW and the "normal" cables burn out over 5 kW energy transfer.
The online "unofficial official" Stationeers Wiki is fairly good and useful.
I highly recommend making the airlock very early (well before starting the pressurized room). You can then hop into the airlock with your oxygen tank and use your one active vent to both clear the room atmosphere and store the o₂ you just used back into pipes. Always good to see more Stationeers stuff!
So glad this was posted here! Thank you!
You're welcome :)
those mineral deposits go down pretty deep
You dropped your wrench on the floor near the lander now to see how it takes you to notice
You could have put in all the gear including the air tank into your hab BEFORE installing the last glass wall to make things easier for you.
I knew you’d end up playing this eventually. Suggested it during the first Planet Crafter series a while back.
Having to open your helmet to eat or drink seems... rather a severe design flaw.
Isn't that how it works in real life though?
@@krayrk799 it's the easiest option, but even current tech could just use straws, valves, etc. to allow water and liquid nutrients to be ingested without having to open the suit.
I guess the suit might be designed with the idea of always being near a rover, habitat, or some other space like that - and the early part of the mission is just a gamble if a shelter's not set up within hours.
Heh, Stationeers is still a thing. Cool, cool, cool. 'First Person Space Survival' is almost it's own genre now. (/lightly affectionate)
I look forward to the palace of glass. Here's hoping Mars doesn't like throwing stones. :P
In electronics printer there’s a portable light can you put that in your backpack you can turn your light off, so you can save Power
Do machines still grab you as you try and walk past them?
