His voice was hurt and he has a history of his vocal cords kinds fucking up if he pushes them too hard. During the black parade era they toured absolutely relentlessly, he mentioned that he was pissed cause he thought becouse his voice was messed up he would sound like a screaming whiny girl (lol) but he tried his best. And the performance was pretty good.
