About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a rural South Dakota born and Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 4 kids and over 500+ videos. We also have a TV show on the Magnolia Network called Super Dad. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
EVERY Colorado Weather Man
• EVERY Colorado Weather...

On the flipside, I've always cracked up at weathermen in Hawaii. Local news in Honolulu and the weather guy seemed SO bored. "Yup. Looks like ANOTHER day of lows in the 70s, highs in the 80s, chance of some morning showers. ...sigh..." It's literally the same weather report every day of the year. 😆
They should have a weather forecaster exchange program. Someone from the mainland swaps with someone from Hawaii. They'd certainly learn to appreciate the mundane weather, lol!
I lived in SanDiego and there was a weatherman on the radio every morning he’d say “todays high is 75, with a windchill factor of …. 75” and then he’d laugh. 😅
As a real-life Colorado meteorologist, this is 100% accurate
Lol, the one and only time I spent in Denver it was 80° and snowed that evening! Never experienced such crazy weather 🌞🌦. ( side note, we were swimming in the outdoor pool when the snow fell) 😂
Ah, we call that a Tuesday!
Omg that's crazy!
Yep! I’ve been snowed on while watching fireworks on the 4th.
This is so spot on 😂 I lived in Denver for a couple years and it truly always felt like the weather person just spun a wheel to determine the forecast before they went on 😂
Not from Colorado, but my husband calls them "weather guessers" 😂
"We're Hiring" at the end. 😅
Not from colorado, but I used to visit Denver a lot. I once had to drove across town. When I got in the car, it was sunny, a storm blew in and it was pooring rain within a few minutes. Then it was hailing sizable hail. When I parked, it was sunny again.
Sounds about right, lol!
Forecasting Colorado is almost as hard as forecasting in Northern Indiana. You could have snow, wind, hail, sleet, rain, sunshine, snow again, and temperatures ranging between -20 to 80 degrees all in a 7 day span😂
To be fair to the Centennial State, that's one day in the mountains.
Indiana 👋 😂
dang! sounds just like Texas lol
NE Ohio can do all that....in one afternoon!
The reason why Colorado is so hard to forecast is because the Jet Stream spends most the year over Colorado and rhe Mountains. If the clouds remain high no rain, no snow it will pound the plains instead of Denver. It's just impossible to predict Colorado. The temperatures are usually always correct it's just the weather events because of the mountains, It's called a Rain Shadow.
Sounds like Pennsylvania, where it can spit hail while the sun is shining 😂
PA is great, because you get an equal dose of all 4 seasons....sometimes in the same day.
In Michigan as well.
Also ~ Minnesota. We too can swing 70 degrees in any direction within a matter of hours. This is why I keep an extra pair of flip flops *and* snow boots in my trunk.
Minnesota here as well! Always a parka and a beach towel!
Yes, totally Minnesota
That forecast is actually more accurate than any weather channel here in Colorado, when are you going to start forecasting your own weather stats. Dude dad weather channel.
😂😂😂 I’m in the South. The last few days our lows have been single digits and in a few days it’ll be a high of 70. I’ve learned now not to pack away all of my seasonal clothing because you could be wearing tshirt and shorts one day and your big winter jacket the next!
I've lived here since 77' the weather is always a gamble, especially along the foothills and the plains. Experience has taught me to know when it is going to hail though.
This was funny and so true. Especially loved the 10 day forecast part!!!
The accuracy of this...only half the time they don't even acknowledge they were wrong lol
This is so accurate for the Midwest too! Michigan weathermen tell us one thing and the opposite occurs 😂
Here in New England the weather changes every 10 seconds or so. I don't really know why we even bother with weather forecasts except for safety reasons (like blizzards and hurricanes.)
I would definitely watch a forecast like this
The pants that zip off for sure! #preparedhomeschooler
As my father would say “Maybe cold, maybe hot. Could be cloudy or not.”
Lmao here in Nova Scotia we say if you dont like the weather, wait 15 minutes 😂
This is so good! Like SNL good. 😂😂😂
Sounds like MICHIGAN or literally anywhere in the Midwest! 😆
"What the crap is that?!?" -- my favorite part. Spot on! :D
lol 😂😅😂😅😂 no body knows!!! yes!!!
Reminds me of that one Fairly OddParents episode where Timmy's mom became the weather person and he wished everything she said was right because angry mobs ran out the last few forecasters.
😂
Weather man in the UK-Just don’t forget your umbrella
Have traveled theough colorado extensively. So accurate.
To be fair, they are *usually* accurate within 40 degrees
+ or - 40 is the industry standard around these parts!
Wise words. That’s all you can do in the snow country 🥶
This is accurate everywhere in the US!
😂👏🏼😂👏🏼😂 ~ Hey, if we can’t have an accurate forecast, we can always count on an accurate video from Dude Dad. Loved the added touch with his name “Parker Boulder” 😆. Sending love from Castle Rock. Thanks for the laughs, neighbor 🥰.
Might rain, might snow, might blow, might not. Foolproof.
Could work here in Boise, too. Predicted 40 degrees yesterday. Instead it was about 20 with heavy snow and then ice rain. All I know is it's gonna do what it wants and you have to be prepared for whatever comes your way 😂
🤣"What the crap is THAT?!??"
This could be applicable for us in New England too!
I also always say, meteorologist are the only job you get paid to be wrong! Must be nice
Seeing it's winter, wouldn't a nice trip to Fl for a comedy show be great?
Oh I totally agree. That place has to be one of the hardest areas to get right. As somebody who has forecasted in Texas and Oklahoma, really they aren't that hard to get right. Colorado the wind is slightly off from the forecast can completely change the weather.
Yeah, I like the name, Mr. ‘Parker Broomfield’. How about the weather differences along the Front Range, between north of the Palmer Divide and the Palmer Divide itself? Four inches of snow north of the Divide, and twelve inches on the Divide! A distance of twenty miles (or many times even less) along Rte. 25 can make or break your day.
Yup. Welcome to CO, where we have all four seasons in one day!
Know someone who lives in Broomfield and he refers to the weather as "drunken" Colorado weather. Seems pretty accurate to me!
Yup. LOL 😆
Colorado forecast: "be prepared for literally anything."
There was a blizzard in August when I was a kid. And I'm pretty sure there have been tornados at some pretty unexpected times as well.
About the only thing you can be sure of is snow on Halloween. LOL
Omg , I loved it
"What the crap is that?" Best weather description for lake effect regions of upstate New York, too. 😂
New England gal here. That was as good as any forecast we get too. No one really knows. We just learn to plan by carrying stuff in our car and hope for the best. We also have generators for power outrages and pantries in case we are snowed in. The only thing we do not cope well with is heat over 90 degrees as most of us do not have Air Conditioning. We kinda lose our minds if it hits 100.
Here in the northeast it's like, "Anywhere from 1-18" of snow expected tonight, tomorrow, and/or the next day. It might be morning, noon, or night. It may not happen at all. Maybe we'll get a 60° day in there somewhere literally right after it snows." (Yes, last week it was 24° and snowing and the next day was 58°. 😂)
Caller-adow!!!!
It's hard everywhere lol. We've got 10 inches of snow on the ground but it'll be upper 60s in a few days. Can be 80 with tornado warnings and snow on the backside the next morning. I love it. Keeps life interesting.
😂😂😂😂😂
Welcome to Colorado Dude Family!!😂😂😂 Colorado Natives have ALWAYS said, "Hate the weather, wait 15 minutes, it'll change.".
Here in the North Texas area, it's a crap shoot with the weather as well. Heck, we had "Lake Effect" snow in some areas the other day. That's a first as far as I can remember for this area. No one predicted it.
This is spot on for Oklahoma! We get four seasons in one day! 🤪Love your videos!
Tomorrow’s snow storm may leave us anywhere between a dusting to 10 inches.
Mark Peterson, props to the weather man.🎉
Also, Michigan. I've seen it go from a beautiful spring day to a blizzard in the matter of a few hours.
True for Utah weather also!
Same goes for Wisconsin last week!
As a CO native, can confirm
Sounds like forecasting a hurricane on the gulf coast.
They wonder why no one leaves. Cause the weatherman doesn’t know.
My favorite was Jim Cantore ended up on the wrong beach and the eye wall was miles away😂
Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard at this! Well done!
Why does noone come to Alabama for shows/concerts!? We have large venues 😢here too, and would like to conveniently see them!!❤
So true!
I love in Buffalo, NY and this is so true 😂
First month I moved to Colorado, one day had a tornado warning, rain, snow, and sunshine.
If only the weather peeps with all their science etc were this honest.
I live in Colorado, they don’t even pretend to do any weather reporting here. It called for no snow all week. We got 2” last night, and it’s still listed as we got no snow. They just don’t bother anymore.
This is every meteorologist lol
Hilarious 😂😂😂
So accurate. I've noticed they tend to put everything in the mid 40s later in the 10 days and the accuracy creeps up as the days get closer. Meaning a day will start out as 40, check it later and it's a high of 20. LOL!!
Try packing to travel for a 5 day work trip out there for this time of year…
You nailed Ohio's forecast!
It's the same here in Wisconsin. We get our own weather. 😂😂
So true
Come to Fort Wayne Indiana!
This is soooo Michigan. They can't report yesterday's weather.
Oh? It’s that unpredictable?
I’m in the Deep South, we can predict rain to the second 👏
Lol. Love it
There's weather, for sure 🤣
We could sure use a Dude Dad tour date up here in Calgary, Canada!!
Easy to predict the weather up here: COLD. Always cold.
Calgary too..😂
❤❤❤ so true
Oh we had some crazy weather too Yesterday in Germany. All the kids at home because it was slippery. It rained and it froze instantly, slippery like crazy. it it was supposed to snow at the same time....the snow didnt come but should be today... Luckily its Not so cold anymore while its rainining again. My Kids are waiting on the snow 😁
You know it!
Parker-Broomfield 😂
Too funny! I tried sharing this video on FB, but apparently, it goes against community standards. Those seem to be crazier than the CO weather.
There’s gonna be weather 😂
Mmm, yep. This feels very Calgary, Alberta.
Accurate in all states. 😂
I'm taking the weather man was WRONG again😂😂
Because of the Great Lakes weather in Michigan is crazy. Storm might come across from Wisconsin and completely die or it might gain energy and go crazy. I knew a guy who left being a weather man to go sell real estate.
I mean this kind of looks like our weather out here in KY lmao
😂😂😂 Nobody wants to commit to anything to anybody.
What you were in Sacramento last week?!? I would have totally got tickets.
I think that's how they predict the weather here for Texas 😂 our weather does its own thing. When they say it's gonna be a bad rain for our area it may or may not be bad where I'm at lol
Living in Colorado, most of the time I don't even bother to check the weather. The weather's going to do what it's going to do and trying to guess what that is is pointless.
Our Colorado weather man is seriously not the best haha very unpredictable here….
It's not his fault, its the Rocky Mountains!
This is legit the weather people in Australia too 😂
Accurate
Hahahaha 😂
It's all a crap shoot here in CO
90 F in early January in northern Utah then back to the snow. A foot of snow in June when it was hot the day before. Wtf. Blame the Rockies?
Former TV news & weather girl here. Now try doing the same thing in towering stiletto heels, a snug MUST BE SLEEVELESS sheath style dress (in an insanely cold TV studio where the male anchors all wear jackets and ties), gesturing in front of a large map of the US and trying not to look like you're getting boned from behind by Texas or gutted in the front from Florida, while saying "looks like a comfortable 69 today. " The lady TV weather reporter struggle is real. That will be your Part 2 on this brilliant vid.
