My baby started having seizures 4 months ago, I went to local hospital and was told it’s just colic or reflux, i just knew it wasn’t that. I followed up several times at my local and children’s, within 4 days they got more consistent and the children’s hospital called me and told me to bring him in ASAP. We spent 6 days in hospital, MRI, EEG, spinal tap, everything!
We don’t have a clear reason, but we just did his third EEG and everything is looking good! He’s progressing!
Good on you for fighting so hard. Especially, them 24 hour vEEGs are super hard to get anywhere but US

My son just got diagnosed with infantal spasms. We started his treatment last night see it's six months old.

I work at a school--we have 1 student with epilepsy so I'm helping coordinate a whole employee training from the epilepsy foundation. I'm looking forward to knowing more about it and how I can respond and help if I ever encounter someone in a crisis. Thank you for sharing
