The brief view of the kitchen was stunning!
THIS is really elegant. I agree with L K, so many look over done and as if they have lots of money but no sense of elegance and style. THIS is IT! I wouldn't change a thing except LOL :)....I would use burgundy, brown and a touch of gold as accents in a couple rooms to "warm" it up instead of blue....it's all pretty white, and blue makes it even more icy. BUT WEHRE DO I SIGN, READY TO MOVE IN!

On Zillow it shows the home sold in 2010 for $1,250,000 CAD (USD 910,000) and was recently put up, but not sold, for CAD $6,880,000 (USD 5,142,200).
How in just 14 years did it go from $910k to 5M? 😂
@@omgwtfpwnd There is no way anyone in their sober senses will offer that much. Adjusted for inflation, $910k in 2010 is equivalent to $1,281,400 in 2023. It will never sell for $5 Mn, just a suggested price by the selling agency to anchor buyers to the higher psychological price.
@@Artecus For $2M-$3M home, where should I buy to get the best “bang for the buck” if I want Italian inspired/neoclassical homes? I dislike average architectural designs in Texas and other places as they all look the same. It seems the housing market is wonky right now.

The Great Eastern Migration started in 2016 in which CA software engineers had started to move back eastwards for lower living costs, and then COVID-19 accelerated this process dramatically as people were also allowed to work from home and from all over the country they started moving everywhere else. The best bang for the buck, as you wrote, was anywhere undesirable pre-2020. There are still many incredible homes that look $3 Mn but cost a fraction of that in the US interior, south, but do you work from home? There are incredible purchases in Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, and so on.
