How to make Curved Text in Procreate

- When designing a logo or t-shirt design chances are at some point you will need to do curved text. The only problem is... Procreate doesn't do curved text!! Cory shows a couple different methods of creating ARC TEXT within Procreate. Hope you guys enjoy this one!!

We should all request that they add this option. I love arch and complete text circle. It's a little tedious to have to go this route. But I appreciate the tutorial since it's not available.... YET

Amazing. I have been curving my text by warping the raster. It's never perfect, but okay. Will give this a shot tonight as I would like a bit more consistency in the text. Thanks for the tip. Clipping and moving each letter individually never entered my head.
Sometimes it’s comforting to know that there isn’t a “better” way than the long way. It’s less of a struggle for an amateur if you know the pros are doing it the same way, and there’s not some secret hack you could be using.

Nice way of doing things. I’ve found over time that using the warp tool can get similar results, (although still tedious). Just type any text, warp/shape where needed. Then you can go into other software to clean any rough edges, vectorize, etc. Hopefully Procreate will integrate this feature for us soon. Cheers.

I use Affinity Designer. Similar to Illustrator, but without Adobe’s overpriced subscription.
Affinity is the best. Adobe can eat shit with their pricing and spyware

I haven't used it a bunch because it doesn't run great on my iPad Pro (1st gen)... but I think it would be cool to use more once I upgrade the iPad.

You can use Affinity for sure. The name of the font is “Liquid Gold”. It’s a custom font we made and it’s available on our website!

Yea we are all anxiously waiting for Procreate to add this feature. We did show a couple ways to workaround not having that feature yet. We also didn't use warp in this video...because it stretches the letters.
