WHAT HAPPENED TO CHAMILLIONAIRE

  • Chamillionaire was once one of the premier artists coming out of Houston making a number one hit on the hot 100 billboard and 2 top 10 albums on the billboard 200. Of course that was at a time when there was a magnifying glass on Houston. Any and everybody was getting some type of shine as the big machines were tapping into the underground scene that Houston had built over the previous decade and Chamillionaire was the only act from that cluster to wind grammy.
But long before that he was making a name for himself with the Color Changing Click alongside the likes of his brother Rasaq, 50/50 Twin and Lew Hawk. But most notably Paul Wall which the two became the face of the click that released the regional smash hit N Luv With My Money from the debut project Get Ya Mind Correct.
He also gained significant ground int he underground with his Mixtape Messiah series that spanned from 2004-2009 dropping 7 mixtapes with the first being the most bought mixtape in Texas history according to wikipedia.
But since then what has happened to Chamillionaire? Is he riding dirty? Or is he creating so much generational wealth that he is truly producing what is the sound of revenge?

They say Chamill is sick, click click hears a clip,
Bang bang at the rap game to make your spirits lift.

I think chamillionaire's plan was to always leave rap no matter how many people enjoyed his music it seems as though it was the right decision because there's a limit and culture change in music every few years the whole premise is if you were in the game prior hop on what hot now or get left behind from the reason why he left music the way he did he wasn't bout to sellout for a check man I wish this was longer salute

Aka he flipped the script. Record labels could also be considered “angel inventors”. 2021 alone has also backed up his risks message about being a rapper. King Koopa for the Win.
