Everyone thinks the accumulation strategy works because the Patriots used to do it all the time. I guess people forget how good prime Tom Brady was. Stud Wide outs are hard to come by.
Agree NE drafting wasn’t great especially when Monti had his highest position there from 2014-2019.. Ne was 98% Brady look after he left BILL B struggled..
Not to mention all the team friendly contracts Brady signed

Don't over think this. The best, easiest and smartest decision is Marvin Harrison Jr I don't care how deep the draft is the Cards already have 9 picks. A talent like Marvin comes around every once in awhile. Man can easily be our next Larry Fitzgerald and we need a player like that with Kyler. Especially seeing what Kyler could do with D Hopp.
I know we don't want to admit it but last year was a rebuild and this season might even be a rebuild. However we take Marvin Harrison Jr were guaranteed 4 more wins off him alone which means we will be very competitive this season. Plus if we can draft and plug some holes in our roster that should make us even better and use free agency to help the rest. Easy choice MHJ the Vikes and other teams that would be interested in the 4th spot lack the packages we would want to give up the spot. Stay put and draft a potential future hall of famer at WR. A player like that doesn't come by often.
Well said. With multi choices why mess around? MHJ is #1 receiver with attributes. Give Kyler an early Xmas present... tall, athletic, good moves and Kyler can see him, not like some players Keims picked.
I say stick with #4 and get MHJ . Wide receiver is our biggest need.
As a fan of this team never have I been more excited about the draft. Thank GOD for Monti!!!!! Kiem would've traded away more than half of their picks for over the hill, often injured vets.

@kevinmckenna5414 no one expected anything from them last year and what I mean by thank GOD for Monti is Keim would've traded alot of their top 100 picks for often injured players that were either at the end of their careers or had nothing left in the tank. Monti came in and did what was needed and that's strip it all down and build it back up. Don't know what you expected.
@@aabowens I still don’t expect anything.. I’m not sold on Monti with his history of draft knowledge.. when he was in Tennessee and NE and he had a high position their drafts are terrible.. look at Tenn 2020-22 and NE 2014-2019 that’s when he was highest position to do with scouting

I think we should stick and pick MHJ at 4, and then use our draft capital to move up the draft and get another blue chip. That disappointing 27 we got from Texans just doesn't seem great.

You’re correct, we do not need to overthink this choice, you trade the pic for the hall. Just remember one thing Mike, all last year you kept saying yes to Will Anderson, I kept telling you they were not taking Will Anderson, and I’m telling you again this year we are not drafting and mhj. we are also not going to trade back up into the top 10 after we trade with whomever we trade with to pick up another wide receiver, it wouldn’t make any sense to take the second or third best receiver lol. Last year we traded up to take what we considered be the best offensive tackle in the draft and that made sense, wasting draft On wide receiver, number two or wide receiver number three in this case makes zero sense and I doubt Monty will do that.
Will Anderson isn’t close the same caliber player as mhj
It was an analogy, not a one-to-one comparison. Will Anderson was arguably the top non-quarterback prospect last year, this year the top non-quarterback prospect is Marvin Harrison Junior. All the analogy was there to do was demonstrate that Arizona is willing and able to pass on the top prospect in a draft.
