I have a mid batting average on my team but least strike outs and no pitch selection thanks for the vid
Quick question I have been struggling with offspeed pitches and I was wondering should I just load for a longer time or do something else
Your one hand release reminds me of bonds
Not a bad person to be in the same sentence of lol. If you check out my past videos, I actually spent 2 months trying to study and copy Bonds swing
One last thing when u load do u do 4 things? Rock back in over back leg, coil your hips in, hands go back so knob is to the catcher, and lift your back elbow up. Let me know thanks
Technically all of those things do happen. However, a combination of different drills make all these things happen without actually thinking about them. I never started pointing the knob at the catcher until I incorporated one hand drills. I also never focus coiling my hips, instead I try to pull the front inside part of my knee towards my back knee, leading to the “coil”. If you follow my previous videos, you can see how it all comes together for game swings
I don’t understand scapload. Do u pull both hands back and back elbow or just the elbow and the hands don’t do anything?
You want to keep your hands with you, and load with that back scap. You don’t want to push your hands back. That were ration of the hands will happen naturally. I will make a video explaining it more thoroughly
The Swingman thanks because it looks like u take both hands back and behind u while lifting your back elbow up.
Yea that’s natural movement that I don’t think about. A combination of 1 hand drills and developing a bat angle while loading led to my hands naturally loading to that point without thinking. Check out my tee drills video where I go ever something’s hat will naturally develop good hand movement
The Swingman maybe my posture in my stance is not low enough like maybe I’m not leaning over at the chest enough because I can’t feel the scap load.
It’s tough to tell where your problem stems from without watching you swing. If you have any clips feel free to post them up and I’ll do a quick analysis
