This is so timely. My massage therapist just told me my pain is physical, but the stress is being caused by my mental state, remembering so many things from the past.

    Thanks Charlie
Sometimes I use pain to decline doing things I don't want to do. Blessings can come from pain. 😅

Absolutely Jerry! Pain often serves a purpose (whether we recognize it or not in the moment)

My dad got very sick and trying to get into my car to chase the ambulance I felt a muscle pull above my buttock and to the side of my back. I had pain and stiffness for a day. He died two days later and the next day at the wake my leg pain started. 7 months later and it's still there. It shift's places. Started and hamstring pain right in the middle of the leg. Then to the side, then to the side of the lowest part of my femur at my tendon. back to the middle and side and now sort of to the beginning of my hamstring under butt and now butt. My foot sometimes goes numb in some parts. I'm an emotional wreck. I started to suspect this was, in part, mental when stressful events would trigger the pain. I got so scared of anything that doing groceries stressed me and gave me pain. I walk out of the store and pain is instantly gone. huge stressors give me flare ups for days. PT is helping a tiny bit. Doc says no disk. Muscle skeletal pain doc says no disk. Pt says no disk. they all go to tense hamstring. piriformis tension. and the ALL tell me to calm down and fix my mental issues. I didn't listen to any of them except for you Charlie. I can't do a 90 degree leg raise. But If im in a good mood or once after I cried a lot I could do it the same as my other leg like it was nothing. I could never imagine loosing someone could cause this level of physical pain.

As per doctor sarno healing back pain, the issue for most of the back problem was emotional rage in subconscious mind...now i am confused whether my pain is due to structure or mind ... As i lifted water cane once and then after days i got back pain...after MRI i got mild disc hearination..i am better now ..but still does it take 1.5 years for disc issue to heal ?

I still get pain ...looks like a program started running in mind moment after doctor discussed about my MRI..

Sounds like your problem likely started as a structural issue- but may be more due to a learned response at this time. Would need some more details to be sure. Let me know if you're interested in some help!
Hang in there- you can resolve this!
