I've lived in Minneapolis for 22 years and I've taken the city bus for
many years. I don't drive because I have disabilities. I could tell
people stories that would make their heads spin. Taking the city bus is
like a death sentence. I don't feel safe at all because I've dealt
with street people and unruly kids accustoming me, drunk people, violent
fights, the smell of urine, feces and garbage at these bus shelters and
inside the buses and trains. I feel a lot safer taking Metro Mobility
which is a transportation service for people with disabilities and
    seniors.
