It’s not crap. It’s the most fair system with the split qualy format. One of the groups is almost guaranteed better track conditions. In this case Group A lay down rubber for Group B. Imagine if it had started raining halfway through Group A. Now Kelvin would be 13th. Does that seem fair to you?
The second Group had the advantage of the better track. So its about Position not about the time.
