"Koromanti #1" - Mike Block Trio LIVE, feat. Joe Craven

This tune, transcribed by Mr. Baptiste in Jamaica in 1688, would have likely originated with the Akan ethnic group of West Africa, and is included in a collection that signifies the oldest documentation of music of enslaved Africans in the new world.
