To print stickers on colorless foil, you need to find a company that can print white, which is not so obvious, I deal with printing on transparent materials professionally, so if you need help or a company that will do it for you, let me know.

Most decals have a clear background to allow the car color to show through.

For the sticker you should just make the background clear, would solve all the color problems and you'll be able to keep the detail. As for the Mammuth Works car, you should probably get a friend to order one and then test it as a secret buyer. If they aren't responding they're probably avoiding you, just so you don't drive the car and wreck it again.

Sounds like you need gloss stickers with a transparent background. The lightening and splatter will still work :)

You can fix the color issue with the sticker by making them all clear in those areas đ
Then paint will just match the paint of the truck no matter the color

I think with the Mammoth, it really needed some sort of rpm limiter, so that one wheel can't spin more than a set amount (say 50%) faster than any of the other wheels. That should prevent explosions, I would think.
Cannot WAIT to see your reviews of the OutCast and Kraton 4S V2 trucks. Without mods, and with some "reasonable" updates that don't mean re-building the whole thing at twice its original price

I would use clear vinyl. Ask the printer to print white on UV printer with graphics over the top. Done this a thousand times and always works đđŒ love the channel. Great content

One day when I have all my other responsibilities I'll get one but I put my son's education first and good education isn't cheap. Well worth it though. He will be able to afford whatever he wants when he's an engineer. That's the dream at least. Break the cycle

Hopefully âChemical Engineerâ is an option heâll consider. I am in a different field but there is high demand for chem engineering and the ones Iâve known enjoy their jobs. I donât even know if theyâre into RC but they could afford any RC you can imagine, most of them many times over.

Just do the stickers in greyscale. The effect will be the same. Also I reckon the reason Mammuth wonât send the car back to you is because they know it will always break.
Conceptually I like the idea of a quad motor RC, they just need some durable wheels and some redesign for the real world. The suspension and wheels on that thing was as strong as balsa wood.
they should have atleast done the bottom plate of it out of uhmwpe or something, its really low to the ground atleast it wouldnt break or scratch that badly

@@ozan1234561 yup, although I have the feeling that even if they tooled up for injection moulding (which they wonât because it would be way too expensive) the car would still end up failing if driven as a car park basher. Itâs basically a working prototype and definitely not suitable for the general consumer market.
Kev, a brushless boost is hilarious. Use the Infraction Mega spur to go 32dp and it'll take 4S. I have a 3670 motor and 120A ESC in my Vorteks, a wheelie bar and thicker rear diff fluid plus a DumboRC for the gyro. It'll pull wheelies on wet grass and do 100ft power slides. Amazing fun.

I agree, simplistic version of the sticker with clear background. I'd buy that and build an rc specially to put it on. Maybe that new mini monster from FMS
Hey Kev, YES please, make a bunch of decals. Or, one sheet with them all on, in different sizes, to fit different scaled models. We need, - Game Over, What Happened, Wasted, Footage, Now Its Gettin It . Plenty of loud flourescent colours, and Kev Red of course. To fix the colour background issue, just make the background (the decal base sheet) transparent. That way, whatever colour the paint is, it will show through the transparent part of the decal. Otherwise pick a colour that goes with everything (white, black etc).

I think you can get vinyl stickers with a transparent background but I couldnt speak for how much more expensive it may be. it would be much simpler than coloured

Kev, make sure you get the Aluminum bulkhead for the b6.4 buggy! It will be the first thing to break so don't bother with the plastic version. I have one my self and broke it almost immedatiately.

If you make a skin of your 4X4 for my green Traxxas Xmax Iâd definitely add it to cart. Itâs probably best to just make a neutral grey or black outline instead of fussing with all the colors. Thanks Kevin âźïžđâźïž cheers

Zero is freezing in Celsius, freezing in Fahrenheit is 32° also water boils at 100°c, over in the states itâs 212°f just to give you a quick table comparison
I've ordered aluminum machined wheels for my nitro rs4 3 w/os. 12tr r-spec because it kept stripping the wheels, put metal wheel hexes and then the wheel stripped to hell. With metal hexes and aluminum wheels I never had an issue again and the CA glue held surprisingly well on the aluminum wheel.
For the decals. If you did the background in clear than there be no issue. Or 1 less issue. 0c is 32f
That 4 motor car has all the right IDEAS but their execution leaves a lot to be desired. The outrunner motors at each wheel provide balanced light power just like modern high perf evs. BUT the wheels and driveline are WAY too fragile. From the looks of it, the components are very rigid BUT they are fragile. Carbon fibre IS very strong but it's very brittle. Where nylon dacron and polyester will flex, CF will shatter. That's why polystyrene is called HIPS = High Impact Poly Styrene.
At this point Iâm surprised you just have made one from scratch would be a cool series if any of the RC channels could do it this one

5:15 you should make it so you can type in what colour code (exact colour) you want and get it custom made, and sell clear versions for cheaper
I used to work in print.. You could get the stickers printed on clear adhesive just as long as your printers can print white then it should solve your problem..

I started rc with a jlb cheetah then once that broke (after like 4 years of straight abuse and little to no care), stopped with rc cars till I got a rovan 5b 2 stroke rc car that keeps on breaking even while babying it (no jumps, no pulls from a dig, looked after the cluch temps and everything), and then I got a 2wd vxl slash shortly after that, this is my first taste into the quality side of rc cars and it is so nice. Do you think the 2wd vxl was a good choice for a relativly beginer rc car?

Hello Kevin love ur videos and would love some of ur stickers just do a clear wrap for the background of the sticker instead of a ton of different colors
