Did anyone notice the game keeper say he would pit all poachers in jail and throw away they? It was after he says that a brace of pheasant is worth £3. That’s £1.50 per bird. Lock em up forever for poaching a few birds worth £1.50. The game keepers have an absolute cheek bringing up what should happen to people that break the law when they kill every single creature on the land that isn’t game. It doesn’t matter if it’s critically endangered and legally protected birds. If it can prey on game it’s gotta go regardless of the law which in my opinion is a far worse crime than poaching non native birds that are bred specifically to be killed.

As for the guy who is portraying the poacher, well i think he knew exactly what he was talking about. Hence why the game is still played and long may it remain so.

You have to remember a lot of poachers did so just to feed their families or they would starve. Meanwhile the local lord of the manor had no such worries far from in many cases, as is still the way i might add. Hence why the poacher has a few admirer's, even on here.
