- My friends and I have been throwing LAN parties for well over a decade. As we've gotten older we've all become increasingly busy with our own lives and responsibilities. All of us don't game nearly as much as we used to, but these LAN parties are a way for us to all get together and game out hardcore for a whole weekend. No distractions from adult responsibilities. No interruptions with the burdens of daily life. Just gaming and hanging out. Hope everyone enjoys this video, from the people who have experienced this with their own friends and know what it's like to those who have never LANed before and become inspired to do so after watching.
Apologies ahead of time for some of the audio issues in this video. It's impossible to great clean audio without attaching mics to everyone, so my audio consists of a blue yeti sitting in the middle of the room with the gain turned up to pick up everyone's voice (and subsequently a bunch of noise).

I've watched this more times than I'd like to admit. I used to have friends I would game with, but, I moved away 10 years ago. Now 10 years later, I don't know anyone that wants to game... and I have like 1 friend, because... Adult life. I'm living vicariously through you, thank you for posting these. this is what me and my cousins did but it was on console. We did it twice oncez with the Xbox 360 and the other with the Ps4.

How are you obtaining those download/upload speeds?
I have never attended a LAN party, but would love to one day. I recognized some of the games played, but not all of them. Do you post a list of games played? I'd like to look for some of the games played, but I don't know the names of the games.

LAN is life, really wish more people would do them. In the early days there was only LAN because dialup was awful for gaming.

I need some help!
I am planning on building used PCS My budget is 260.
Now I have the option for an i5 4590s or G4560..
Now is the g4560 really no that future proof I am talking abot 4-6 years of use ik I have a good upgrade path but is it the perfomance loss worth it since some games don't even start with a dual core.
The i5 has better perfomance but a weaker upgrade path and most games when not all will start.
Please help me!

Hey danny, before i share this info I'm NOT sponsored by HRKGames, it's just a deal i've found last month that hasn't changed since. It turns out HRKGames sells legit windows 10 keys, Pro edition for $15 and home for $10. I've tested a few of these keys, as i've replaced motherboards in a few builds / rendering windows 10 unactivated due to mobo swap, so i've had to contact microsoft via official chat support, and they've looked at the keys i've provided to them (Purchased off of hrkgames) and they have always said that the key is in fact legit. I'm not sure if they see it as retail, or OEM, either way i receive official support from microsoft, even when buying HRKGames' windows 10 keys for even cheaper than kinguin prices. Just though i'd share :D
