RIP to one of the coolest metal musicians ive ever met. One of my greatest memories is Trevor coming out to the bar after a show at Tremont in cut-off jogging pants and flipflops. Asked him if he wanted a drink and he chose tall boy PBR in a can. Talked for a bit and was the most down to earth guy you would ever meet. He looks at me kinda wild eyed and says "hey man wanna start a circle pit at the bar?" So with Slayer Ghost of War blasting over the bar speakers we started a mosh pit right there at the bar lol... one of the coolest moments ive had and i was star struck.
Hey Lee! Ah thanks so much for sharing that memory. In truth I've been grieving hard since I got the news. I actually broke down and cried when I heard. I had known Trevor for 10 years or so when we first met in London and became friends throughout the years. I'm truly heartbroken but hearing your story sounds just like Trevor man. There will never be anyone like him but that just means that we get to cherish his spirit forever. Sending love, light and positivity to you my friend x
I work with this dude's aunt, and have a sticker on my bike with a picture of hi that says "Never forget". His contributions to metal, the Michigan metal "scene", and my personal obsession with all things metal are unparalleled. I stood outside a venue when I was 14 listening to them play. So surreal that he is gone.

I can't tell you how heartbroken I am. I've spent the last week grieving on and off. We knew each other for 10 years or so and we might not have been able to hang out all of the time due to the obvious reasons of touring but whenever they came to the UK we would ALWAYS see each other. I'm going to miss him so much man. Sending love to you and your friends and family, we've got to look out for each other x

Haha didn't thought about being noticed by you at all honestly, it's a really nice surprise and it makes me a bit excited. Well, since I discovered this channel I have literally watched almost (I think all of them but I'm trying not to be weird so okay haha) your interviews and I really like the way how every musician act so honest, 'human' or more closer to their audience and the way how they express their thoughts with your questions makes it really clear for everyone and that's it something I really love about it. Don't pay attention to the criticism or any shit like that, personally I like UK accent and I use jumpers almost daily so I guess I'm fine with it hahaha, love your work and hope you keep doing what you like! Thanks for the feedback about the audio man! I think since getting my little microphone for interviews and properly stepping up my game somewhat when I'm out and about its really helped. For me... I always lose my shit whenever I hear anything from Nocturnal to be fair but “I Will Return” at the end of the set is always special for me. Though I love that intro run of “Blood Mine” on guitar and “The Window” is definitely a favorite for sure. Another absolute favourite though has to be “Blood In The Ink”. I could go on for years mate hahaha

The main reason that I thought it would be interesting is predominantly because of Trevor's kind of status in the Death Metal world you know? I think that a lot of fans of Death Metal look up to the guy and I wanted to see what his take on it was, though its like he said, its kind of part of the package! The worse the living conditions are, the better the metal that is borne out of that frustration becomes. Suffering produces some of the best art, sadly enough. Just look at some of the absolutely brutal bands that have come out of Iraq in the last decade. Those guys are just unfuckwithable.
Well... You could fuck with them, but I wouldn't recommend it lol, especially considering that they pretty much wiped the floor with the entire brunt of the American military. How quickly we forget why America pulled out of Iraq in the first place; They were losing, and they were losing *badly.* The men and women who served in the US military were completely demoralized during that period of time. There's a reason why America hasn't won a war in 50 years, y'know.
