The alternative I recommend with this is a wide screen curve monitor it will allow two full pages open on the curve monitor.

should look into those new 13.3" android head units, they use double din slots but they have a big display that sits out from the dash, can rotate also.

Damn good work, Matt. Attention to detail is perfect. Wish it was a $90,000 2019 Escalade, but it's still cleaner than stock and way better custom than RTTI/Rockford Fosgate pros could do. A+ man.

This would literally be perfect for any working college student...shit college students in general especially during covid you could go to work, or literally anywhere and still be able to do college work in whatever downtime you get while You're not at home. I'm genuinely curious how much you want for this
Love the work... however you give to much detail about the tech ( wich is no doubt amazing) and not enough to the total build. Show the whole vehicle while explaining the tech. It will make it easier to watch.

Yes, the suspension and charging system reflect the extra components and weight.

Great install but I think the Directv satellite feed aspect ratio may need adjustment.
webberfan1234 why do you say that. It’s 1080. You cannot get HD on trackvision. Maybe that why you said this?
Matt Schaeffer Nothing to do with the resolution, it just seems like the picture is a little squished on the top and bottom. Apple TV picture looks correct though.
webberfan1234 again, Apple TV is playing in 4K HDR. Direct TV is playing in 1080i SD. Which is always going to look weird especially the bigger the TV. To get a HD dish for a car is like 15k
Matt Schaeffer I don’t think it’s a question of resolution. It’s the aspect ratio that’s a bit off. Maybe the picture output menu of the Tracvision A9 can help with this issue? Also, 1080i is HD and not SD. Is the Tracvision connected to the TV with HDMI or other video cable?
webberfan1234 that’s the thing about SD. When you playing original aspect it is all over the place. If you stretch, it’s all over the place. Depends on the media that plays. SD is all over the place. Switch over to SD if you have direct tv and you will see what I am taking about. I think you forget what it’s like to watch SD media.
