Skill issue. I thrive with Gyro controls on my rinky-dink switch. I've been trained by the best. (Splatoon top 500 all use motion controls I'm not that good though)

Well I play overwatch on switch in handheld mode and the typing is super easy with the touchscreen haha

As a switch player who play for 4 months, it really does need more aim assist
The only time aim assist is problematic in cross play is when PC users plug a controller in but still use a mouse and a keyboard, so they get aim assist and the benefits of mouse + keyboard.

It would make PS5/PS4 so much better since they actually run at a reasonable frame rate. I play on PC with gyro aim on a Dualsense and it is game changing.

I downloaded the game on mine and when you don’t own a pro controller and use the joy con connector thing, it ain’t fun 😂 I straight deleted it off my system
I personally find this to be a skill issue as I've played OverWatch with joycons since it came out on switch LBOZO
Is it really that hard? I mean sure the motion controls lack camera smoothing and honestly was just slapping gyro in and calling it a day but it’s still enjoyable to play compared to just using sticks
@@SpaceGamer07 for me it is as since I’m used to the bumpers and triggers being bigger on my Xbox controller, then smaller on Joycons I find it a little more difficult. But I re-downloaded so I can improve
@@Outx7Cast if you’re looking to find a more enjoyable shooter though (since let’s be real here overwatch on switch is good for causal but horrible for competitive) I would actually recommend splatoon 3 if you get the chance

lol I play splatoon and aiming gyro with Zenyatta on OW was so easy, but being able to laze around while using a laptop in my own bedroom was way too tempting

I guess it depends on each person but the motion controls improve my aim way better than trying to use my thumb to aim. It’s so much easier to just turn and look at a direction to aim than to try and place my cross hair with my thumb.

I used to play OW1 on Switch. With so many hours logged on PC I can't go back to it.
I've gotten used to playing overwatch on switch. Never played it anywhere else, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I do well playing with my pc friends.
Typing on touchscreen is faster, and I personally don’t use gyro controls, but they’re probably better
they are not because they aren't implemented very well. There is literrally NO deadzone meaning just your hands shaking naturally while holding the controller makes your crosshair jitter. Keep it turned off!

i play primarily on switch after years of playing on xbox. Playing with a pro controller is the ideal way to go. you get used to the frames honestly
i played ovy 1 on the switch before cross platform was introduced. and when i stopped playing i had hit a little over level 200 i played the game so much. now after playing on the ps5 i have vastly improved at the game
I had to play on the switch because my ps4 over heated and set on fire, it was pure pain
I used to play on switch until I got on ps5, I can never go back especially since its not lovked 30fps anymore since ow2. Still miss pre crossplay switch lobbies, those games were the most fun I had playing this game.

I don't have my ps4 with me right now, so I started playing on my switch, and on the tiny screen... so I won't dare to even try competitive lol (also as a console player, you never type or even voice chat lol)

🤓 False: gyro aim gives you the precision of a mouse whilst also keeping your right thumb free to use the face buttons. It's also really efficient for flickshots. 🤓

When I’m away from home, I’ll pull out my Switch and play with a Split Pad Pro in handheld mode. I only play easy to use characters and never play competitive, though. Having a handheld version of the game is pretty cool, even if it doesn’t run great.
Would I have paid for actually money for it? Hell no. But now that it’s free and has cross-progression, why not?

Not only on the switch but on every console. I've been a long time PC OW player but i switched to ps5 when my laptop broke. It's such a big pain to play ow with the controller. It's like torturing yourself, they have enabled cross play idk why blizzard doesn't just give kbm support on the consoles now
Funny how they don't want console players "abusing" aim assist when playing against pc players, BUT they don't even give us the option to plug a MnK and play at the same level, is like they want console players to get fucked everytime they wanna play with their friends on pc.

YOU UNDERSTAND MY PAIN, now imagine trying to climb to diamond with teammates that are on switch, and you one trick rein, you also consistently get 3 golds and 10k+ damage blocked… in ow1

Bro I play overwatch on switch and yes it was hard at FIRST. You really have to mess with the settings for the camera not to shake that is how I did it.

As a switch player for 3 years now here’s some things that’ll help anyone who finds it a struggle to play on it
1. Gyro isn’t for everyone. Turn it off if you don’t want to use it.
2. Get a controller with Back paddles cause it work wonders, especially for wall riding, using any of the slow hover passive, etc
3. Play with friends. It’ll make the experience less traumatic
I play on Xbox at home but on the Switch at work during my lunch break, yeah it's got its issues but it's playable
I was originally an Xbox player but now I'm a switch player after losing my Xbox so I rebought it on switch and I've been a switch player ever since as that's where all my progress in. Definitely has a lot of connection problems but normally only for the first minute or so of the game
