- Growing our own food is often considered something not worth the effort. I adamantly disagree with this sentiment and have collected 10 easy crops for beginner gardeners to grow in their 2024 gardens! With a little careful planning you'll be harvesting food from your backyard all season.
These are just crops that I consider to be easy, but I'd like to hear from you! If you're a beginner watching this let me know what you are going to grow in your garden this year. If you've been growing for a little longer I'd also love to hear your lists of easy crops to grow or crops you are excited to this season!
Please don't forget to like and subscribe if you haven't already.

Great info thanks 🎉
Thank you so much for watching and for your comment! Hope you have a great season ahead. 😊
Thank you for your tips. You mentioned some crops I never heard of. I really am new! I’ve been trying to find a good site to help me learn more. Am trying to learn all I can on companion planting and know better of when to start seeds in doors. I’ve purchased seed packets and I’ve had to research if it’s an annual or a perennial. Also, what can I plant next to each other. So much to learn. Makes me want to quit before I even begin. Anyway, great video. Very informative. Thank you.
Thank you for watchinig and subscribing. I greatly appreciate you joining and am so glad you enjoyed the video! There is really so much to learn and I am also learning new things everyday. Good question! Sungold cherry tomatoes, patty pan squash, & cucumbers have to be my top 3! The epitome of summer crops (in my opinion) 🌱

Great information, thank you, I was looking at my notes for this information. Blessed harvest.
Thanks!
The zucchini myth... i dont buy into it. I still can not get mine to grow, let alone produce to much for us.
I’m sorry to hear you haven’t had much success with your zucchini. My experience has been that they produce endlessly for us all summer and up to our first frost. If you are trying to grow them again I will send as much of our zucchini magic/luck to your garden! Hope you have a wonderful season ahead. Plant some love! 🌱 💚
Wow, glad to find out I am not the only one. The last time I tried zucchini, I had 5-6 hills, and got 1 zucchini. When I saw it, it was about 3 inches long. It was dead and gone the next day. I haven't been brave enough to try it again.

I have tried like 3 yrs in a row. My summer squash doesn't do very well as of yet. My winter squash has done ok. I will keep trying till there is no seed left. Lol

Maybe I am feeding them to much animals 💩 🤔 In my planting holes. I have clay dirt so it's a working trial
