I loved the scenes when Agent Carter empty those bullets on his shield to hide her jealousy & then realized that he actually loves her by seeing her self on his watch while watching him on film
I find it SO symbolic that Steve Rodgers held a trash can lid that ultimately leads to Captain America's Shield. Also when agent Carter touched Steve Rodgers when he emerged from the enhancement chamber, it was not scripted and she did that out of sheer surprise, especially since no one knew he would look that buff before the prevailing of Captain America.
Foreshadowing
That's not true. The skinny body that they used was all cgi. So chris Evan's was never actually skinny like that. So there's no way that could've been a genuine reaction because she already knew how big he was, and had already done tons of scenes with him.
@@hhcdfhngdzjjbf579he is right it was not in the script , it was stated in an interview. But not out of surprise lol, she accidentally touched his chest, instead of gag real they decided to keep that scene as it's funny thats all.

Evan Clark He is one of my favorites. Iron Man, Spider-Man and Captain America are on the same level for me. Black Widow is second for me, along with Black Panther
So much of what happens in the "modern" Marvel universe relies on the existence of Steve Rogers. How many heroes and villains exist because of attempts to recreate the super soldier serum? How many others exist because some scientist was indirectly influenced by the existence of Steve Rogers?
No he isn't.
Captain Marvel, she's the cooler version of superman, in the correct universe.;D

Captain America seems to evolve every single one. If you notice he's pretty fast in this. But he's faster in Winter Solider. But he's insanely fast in Civil War

I think it was, Gene Shallot (spelling?), on "Today", who had to make a retraction, because he thought at first, that the puny version was the real body, and that the healthy body, was special effect. He had difficulty accepting as the other way, because he had a bias that people couldn't really look like that. 😉😎
I adore this movie. I'm Dutch, but a sucker for Americana, and this movie has a plot that ties all of that in with an origin story set in the perfect time period, making a perfect whole.
What I love most about Steve is that he's a REAL hero. Great power doesn't make you great: it's standing up for those weaker than you. I'm kinda introvert, and will often not stand up for myself, but the one thing I WON'T tolerate is people abusing those weaker than them (Elderly, children, animals), and if I have to take a hit to protect the, so be it. I can do this all day...
Watch the "Agent Carter" series if you can get it.

@star I'll let you know I just saw it for the second time today- and yeah I'm young-ish but I'm not an idiot. I was going off the best order to watch them, not the chronological order. If you watched Captain Marvel before everything else (other than the First Avenger), then the post credit scene would be super confusing. In my opinion, the best order to watch the movies depends on the order they came out, meaning the post credit scenes would mostly tease for the next movie and they'd actually make sense instead of watching them in chronological order.
And the Blockbuster store isn't the only giveaway. The old computers were as well.

Iron Man 2 might be a good idea before The Avengers as it sets up a fair bit for that movie including Black Widow and Tony's relationship with Nick Fury. It isn't a great movie but it is a perfectly enjoyable one. But yeah, you could probably skip The Incredible Hulk as it isn't that good, doesn't add anything to The Avengers and just confuses the issue with the recasting of Banner.

If you're going in theatrical order, the movie after the first Captain America is "The Avengers". "The incredible Hulk" was released after the first "Iron Man" movie, in 2008.

There was an interview I saw about the making of this movie. I think it was the director telling the story about someone asking how they did the CGI to make Chris Evans look so incredibly muscle-y while emerging from the pod. The director's response was that the muscles were real; it was the skinny Steve Rogers that was the CGI. Haley Atwell, the actress who plays Peggy Carter, also gave an interview and talked about Chris Evans' "man-boobs." In the pod room scene she very quickly and surreptitiously reaches out and touches Chris' chest. That wasn't scripted, she just couldn't help it.

Fantastic reaction! You don't want to overwhelm them with mediocrity (just in case). Do Iron Man 2 and then Avengers. They can always go back and watch the Hulk as you say if they really like the character in Avengers.

Fun fact: Captain America was inspired by the real life highly-decorated war hero Audie Murphy
Actually Captain America was created in 1940/41 whereas Audie Murphy became the most decorated American soldier of WW II once America entered the war after the Japanese attack on Pearl harbour. He exemplified the same sort of heroic courage in real life that Steve Rogers/Captain America did in fiction.
