Quicksilver's death is emotional for me, not because we got to know his character a lot, but because of Scarlet Witch's reaction to it, she can feel it, her twin dying. In despair and sadness she screams, falls to her knees and releases a powerful burst of energy killing all the bodies of Ultron around her. It's so powerful to me because I have siblings and If I had powers like hers I would probably do the exact same thing if I could feel their death. Such amazing acting on her part.
I kinda think it's pretty emotional since Cap calls him kid so he's probably only like 24 or 25 and everything his does is pretty much entirely in devotion to his sister and once she turns good he does too...he's completely devoted to her and it says everything about his character that he chooses to die to save a father and a little boy.
I’m fine with him dying just I wish they did it different, imagine how much better it would’ve been in ultras got the kill it would of made it sadder made him a better villain all the things

Its a testament to how sucessfull the Marvel shared cinematic universe is if you can talk your elderly mom to watch all the movies from the beggining and she get that engaged with it and follow the whole story trough even recognizing smaller characters and getting references when they pop up. Kevin Feige is a genious realy.
While not my favorite Marvel team-up movie, I definitely enjoyed this one despite the criticisms most people had about it. Probably because it introduced my favorite MCU movie character--Wanda AKA Scarlet Witch. Love Elizabeth Olsen's portrayal of her and all of those hand movements she does for Wanda's powers. Plus, that awesome wardrobe that made my inner emo teen want to revisit a nearby Hot Topic. Wish Pietro could have stuck around, too. He was a great addition to the team and I think he would have been an equally wonderful Avenger, given the opportunity. Loved the dynamic that he shared with, not only his sister, but with Clint.

Like when he spells Stark, when he saw Ultron's mind, when he takes courage, when he unleashes his power when his brother dies, when he goes and ends Ultron, when he did not contain the bomb in Lagos, when he subdued Vision, every scene where he wanda does something cool they always remove it.

From what I understand, it was Fox's call. Since Marvel Studios wanted to use both the twins, they agreed to keep in context of how they were apart of the Avengers. But with Fox having the film rights to X-Men and already having established Quicksilver in their cinematic universe. They wanted Marvel to feature him, but with difference as they weren't allowed to call Pietro and Wanda mutants and also had to kill off Pietro but are allowed to keep Wanda.

I'm just glad Coulson had the forethought to get Theta Protocol ready (the Helicarrier) otherwise things would have gotten super messy. But it still sucks that Marvel Studios introduced Hydra as a big threat in The Winter Soldier and then just undermined that threat by having them be defeated virtually off-screen. Glad to see, however, that Agents of SHIELD got several seasons of storylines out of it.
