You can jump into the water to collect things like barrels if there just out of reach.
In "Hard Mode" the sharks have freakin' laser beams attached to their heads

Ok tips that are not spoilers: Bruce attacks the raft every 10 minutes unless noone is on the raft/ interacting with the raft. It takes 3 minutes for bruce to respawn. If you want to farm islands without the worry of bruce, Park a little father away from the island. Bruce will won't leave the raft area unless he's chasing you -so hop on land as soon as possible when swimming away from your parked raft. I suggest you make a "Green house" for your crops. They do not need sunlight to grow. Just the plot and water. You can put those small plots on walls. I find them OH so cute when making a house. There are also collectables you can put on shelves. You can pick some of your items up, and they won't break. Such as the water purifiers, grills, and crops and research table. Bruce has 20 hit points. So you guys can do calculations if you wish about damages of weapons so you can estimate when brucey will die.
Another tip: Don't hesitate to make your raft bigger the sail and paddle are not linked to the size of your raft. But there is an item in the future that is.
I know your 3 videos in already but incase you don't know those tips yet. There you go.

Just a tip - if you put a row of solid floor in front of the collectors then bruce will be less likely to chomp them and they will still collect

A few non-spoiler tips for Raft:
+If you are on build mode with the hammer but want to repair, just use middle mouse wheel on damaged raft planks.
+If you want to toss a stack of stuff from your hot bar to someone else, hit G.
+If you park your raft away from an island, swim over then hop on the island, the shark will reset and swim back to the raft. The shark won't bother you when you are trying to collect underwater, only when you swim back and forth.
I feel like you guys would like Stardew Valley a lot. Its so relaxing and you can do multiplayer. It even has local multiplayer now if you wanted to do splitscreen! Id know Id love to see that playthrough
They should *totally* do Stardew!
Video idea: DIY game props? You could make the hook from raft relatively easily, as well as the lights front House flipper, and itd be a way to tell people from the DIY chanel about your game chanel!

My anger when they didn’t know that they would just wait for the items to hit the hook, is rising as we speak.
You can't get stuck on an inland unless you build you raft around it. On an island, you can find forts from past "survivors" and loot chests with sometimes valuable resources. You can harvest plants including pineapples, coconuts, watermelon, etc. On some islands, there are even caves with mounds of dirt on them that you are able to collect which you can make those grass plots (they are on the raft on the cover of the game) from. Even later on you can collect animals with a net shooter thingymabob and get chickens, llamas, you name it (but they eat the grass so you need to water the grass plots which you can do manually or with sprinklers which require batteries). If you ever get animals make sure to put a fence/walls around the designated area! :)

I dont know if youve already gotten this tip but you can store raw and cooked food indefinitely, it doesnt spoil. And the collection nets still work if thier not on the edge of the platform, which will protect them from bruce. Love you guys, you guys can always make me laugh. And im so excited that youve finnaly gotten to raft

Do Islands grow stuff back and can you place stuff on them? If so could you get seeds from other places, dock to an island and then build out around it? Could you hypothetically build paths between islands eventually? Is that part of the point of the multi player game? Could you build cities and trade?

This game requires research. Don’t come into this without knowing anything. It’s peaceful but the beginning is hectic. Couple things I can recommend is check the keyboard controls in the settings before jumping in head first! Also, just make your raft as big as possible, the more raft the shark has to eat the less you lose.
