Josh is so terrifying, and it's so cool to see someone who knows the ins and outs of the game he's gaming out talk about exactly what it takes to make his insane videos. I figure LGIO will probably use tools to expedite these jokes. Building the wooden tornado by hand I can see, but collecting all the wood? Id just use cheat engine to give myself infinite items.
Watching game experts react to Josh is always a treat. They start out saying “here’s what he’s going to do here” then they always hit a WTF point when he goes in a completely different direction.

It's very rare today...
Thanks! You just made my day.
Is there a limit?
The thing about Letsgameitout that all his longtime fans will understand is... he would rather the joke take actual hours, than to do ANY off screen stuff. You heard me right, he is very much doing everything he is by hand, for hours or even days. Its generally why all his video's take so long to make and release.
The reason Josh takes so long to upload isn’t because he’s lazy or takes long to edit, it’s because he frequently spends three hours on 2 jokes and has to condense like *150+ hours* of footage into 30 minutes.
probably closer to 60+ hours
the satisfactory stuff alone is wild, i guess its around 100-200h per episode
He once said on stream that his playtime to video ratio is usually about 10 hours per 10 seconds. Josh’s patients is absurd.

The nice part about "building" games is even if your a veteran there is always something new to learn.
I seen other vets from other games react to Josh's vids and they said the same thing about learning new stuff even if they got thousands of hours in that game. 👍
The man is committed to breaking games. Definitely learned a ton.
He's done things that have had game devs make him a part of their games. One of the masterpieces he made is a pic that Satisfactory uses on Steam to promote what the game can do , and Hydroneer has a wanted poster in it for him after he found ways to do some things (don't want to spoil for people who haven't seen) Definitely recommend watching his other vids, even if just a little in your spare time, always good for a laugh. That being said, loved the reaction vid man, definitely subbing

Josh's job previously iirc was as a beta-tester/game breaker for a triple a studio. So he has literal training for this kind of stuff. Don't feel bad that he finds stuff that you didn't lol.
GoodBeard, a thing you should know is that Let’s Game it Out has mastered/invented the art of playing the way the game didn’t expect/want you to play it, making his content the best of the best
27:45 "I wonder how he found that?"
Knowing Josh that was probably him discovering it
He didn't know he could go underwater until that exact moment

Everytime I watch one of Let's Game it Out videos, an old "Devs React" video comes to mind. Tomb Raider's devs reacting to an any% speedrunner glitching his way through everything, until he skips a very elaborate timing-based jumping puzzle, and you can hear one of the devs commenting with actual heart breaking sadness in his voice: "...that took so long to program..." 🤣
The thing he made at 8:45 actually looks cool. The sense of scale of it when the full "sculpture" is on screen is just beautiful.
I would love to have that as some kind of playground if I get that game since I like to do parkour when bored. The lights make it even cooler as well.

Josh has stated before that he will work for 9 hours just to get a 30 second clip.

the fact he explains to his viewers that Josh has to explain things to his viewers made me think.
I never actually noticed the complicated tidbits of how Josh gets his many shots. For instance, how he keeps toggling UI on and off and building out other parts of the raft that he's ultimately going to destroy for some good shots. Thanks for pointing that out.
It's just zooming in beyond the UI in editing. Even a lot of the shots with the UI are zoomed.
This is what Josh does, he actually helps developers improve their games by doing this crazy chaotic madness. Like satisfactory.
Let's game it out, has a unique play style of "How can I break my way through the game today?". It makes for a pretty entertaining video/series though. It's always a good time seeing his whacky vids.
wow this actually gave me insight as to how much he puts into quality of life for his viewers
I appreciate the actual commentary that explains just how much work goes into doing the weird stuff LGIO does, rather than just going "ha ha funny man do goofy thing" like most people do. Good stuff, there's a lot of small details I never picked up on so cheers for that.
Thank you!
Josh sometimes break games without even trying.
But he also helped a lot improving stability of some games - like hydroneer and satisfactory became way better because of him.
I absolutely love LGIO, I've been watching him for years. It's nice to have confirmation that he ACTUALLY spends this amount of time on his videos. Part of me wonders if he speeds up gametime to make it happen, but even still, it's wildly impressive and I love all of his videos.

The moment you hear "Hold please" you know you're about to witness insanity
Josh probably doesnt mind you reacting, he is probably glad he could provide information that would help the loyal players of the game. Josh's followers wait on pins and needles for each episode.
Usually devs end up watching Josh, and find it just as amusing watching him masterfully pull their game apart at the seams and rebuild it as he sees fit
Fact: josh's skills was in control when he play with his friend, but when his friend goes for a different hobby, he goes all out
josh has a very chaotic brain. always thinking of any game breaking stuff he can try out. because of his brilliant mind, he can be a great game tester who can test your game's limits and find any bugs

Bold of you to assume Josh ISN’T insane.
You have no idea what he’s capable of.
I always knew that it took him hours to set up every joke, but you point things I didn't even notice. This is why Josh is so great.
Ive gotten lost in a game for 12+ hours- just wanting to do something insane.
But this man. THIS MAN he needs to give a livestream of his process
One of the rare reaction videos thats actually useful. Neat. I already knew he's putting tons of time into it, but wasn't aware of all small details he does to improve the video.
I really like this video! Instead of a standard run-of-the-mill reaction this is more like an analysis that's breaking down how the video is made. Pointing out all the extra time and effort it takes to actually pull off some of these things, and especially the added touches for better viewer experience, gives me deeper respect to the dedication Josh has to his craft. Nice!
"Has to have collection nets" Josh will spend twenty hours setting up a joke.
In one of joshes vids, he literally had the game say, "Wow! you've been playing this game for 22 hours strait!
I just love how this dude starts by reacting and commenting, then halfway in, he started genuinely enjoying the crazy stuff
Just as a small correction, the abandoned rafts you come across in the game will begin sinking if you stand on them so initially you don't need to collect the loot for it to start sinking but either way it's still a funny joke
This video gives me a new sense of appreciation for Let's Game It Out and all the effort he puts into his jokes and the attention to detail for the ultimate viewing experience
