素盞雄神社 天王祭
御本社神輿が渡御する御神幸祭(ごしんこうさい)を通称で「本まつり」といいます。３年に一度の御神幸祭では、重量千貫・長柄四間半(8.1m)の二天で担ぐ大神輿を筆頭に、中神輿･小神輿(子供神輿)の３基の御本社神輿が南千住･三之輪、三河島、町屋の61ヶ町にわたる氏子区域を渡御します。本まつり以外の年を氏子まつりと呼び、本まつり・氏子まつりを問わず、毎年100基を超える町神輿が各町内を巡行します。
Susanoo Shrine Tenno Festival
The Goshinkosai festival, in which the main shrine mikoshi (portable shrine) is carried, is commonly known as the "Honmatsuri". At the Goshinkosai festival, which is held once every three years, three main shrine mikoshi, including the large mikoshi (portable shrine) carried by two people, weighing 1,000 kan and measuring 4.5 ken (8.1 m), the medium mikoshi (portable shrine) and the small mikoshi (portable shrine for children), are carried through the parishioner area, which covers 61 towns, including Minamisenju, Minowa, Mikawashima, and Machiya. Years other than the Honmatsuri are called Ushiko Matsuri, and regardless of whether it is the Honmatsuri or Ushiko Matsuri, more than 100 town mikoshi are paraded through each town every year.
