台湾好きによるこだわり台湾イベント。物語は１畳のステージと1人1人の台湾愛から始まった2014年、台湾好きで台湾を盛り上げたい！そんな気持ちから集まったボランティアと、出演者も居ないタタミ1畳分のステージと出店者もいない状態から始まった...。だからこそ大事にしたい台湾愛。台湾好きの⽇本⼈が集まり台湾の魅⼒を紹介するため、2010年に台湾フェスティバル™を発起したが、東日本大震災で中止となりました。その際、東日本大震災で200億円以上の多額な善意が台湾から日本に贈られたことは、多くの方の記憶にまだ新しいことかと思われます。震災前年に法人化した⾮営利団体「一般社団法人台湾を愛する会」は、日本と台湾で様々な寄付活動や台湾を紹介する活動を経て、2014年に台湾フェスティバル™を再起、2015年から5年で累計来場者数が100万人に達する勢いの日本最大台湾イベントとなりました。

A Taiwan event for Taiwan lovers. The story began in 2014 with a one-tatami stage and the love of Taiwan of each person. We want to liven up Taiwan with Taiwan lovers! It started with volunteers who gathered with that feeling, a one-tatami stage with no performers, and no vendors... That's why we want to cherish our love for Taiwan. In 2010, Taiwan Festival™ was launched to bring together Japanese people who love Taiwan and introduce the charm of Taiwan, but it was canceled due to the Great East Japan Earthquake. At that time, Taiwan donated more than 20 billion yen to Japan in goodwill, which is still fresh in the memory of many people. The non-profit organization "General Incorporated Association Taiwan Lovers Association", which was incorporated the year before the earthquake, relaunched Taiwan Festival™ in 2014 after various donation activities and activities to introduce Taiwan in Japan and Taiwan, and became the largest Taiwan event in Japan with a cumulative number of visitors reaching 1 million in five years from 2015.
