Matt- what a keeper she is! Smart & witty, cute, and bubbly too.. Don't listen to the ridiculous armchair haters- for YEARS my folks bought both BMWs and Mercedes that came off lease, and those cars were always a great deal, well taken care of, and reliable. The former loaners are good deals too- both are good ways to get extensive discounts on dealer maintained/known excellent service record vehicles.

At last. Would she like to review a 2017 Porsche 911 C4S that smells like gorillas and dog?
She's an animal person so I'm sure a Porsche that smells like a zoo wouldn't phase her a bit lol.
Nobody is going to read this long-winded subjective review of mine because they're all so fixated on Matt's wife. She seems like a very nice person. Anyway, here's some other stuff you should know about this car from a random, unimportant, negative Nancy CZcams commenter:
The driver's seat is not centered with the steering wheel. If you haven't sat in one of these things before, you'll see that the steering wheel is slightly to your right. You might notice this at 2:48. Kinda irritating. The windows tend to rattle in the 2015 model I've been driving. The 4 wheel drive model can really rocket you forward but the transmission is a bit jerky at low speeds and there's a lack of refinement from a stop. I found this to be the case because I did entirely urban driving in this thing. Also if you have the standard, unadjustable suspension, you're in for a surprisingly bumpy ride if you're driving in a place with bad roads like Los Angeles.
Biggest complaint is the infotainment system. It is frustratingly laggy and slow to respond to inputs from the center console dial. You can see how choppy it is at 4:40. Unacceptable for a Mercedes-Benz. This would be somewhat forgivable if it had a touchscreen because touch screens tend to lag at least a little bit. But this isn't a touch screen. There are just way too many laggy and choppy animations when you're going from one menu item to another. You'll find that you often accidentally overshoot the radio station you want to go to if you're using the dial.
The handling is surprisingly dull on this thing. This obviously contrasts with the opinions of the reviewers in the video. There's this weird resistance when you start to turn the steering wheel while driving that lets off after turning it about 30 degrees in either direction. After that it lightens up. I guess it's some kind of attempt at making the car feel sportier than it is, but it doesn't really work and it just ends up feeling strange. It goes from feeling deliberately under-assisted to feeling way over-assisted in an instant.
I will admit that this is a good looking car. If that's what matters to you, go for it. But if you want a better driving experience and a more responsive and intuitive infotainment system, you're better off with a BMW 3 series or an Audi A4 in this car segment. BMW iDrive and Audi MMI are miles beyond Mercedes-Benz COMAND. I'm sure things get much nicer when you bump up to the E class.
