Seats not going all the way to the other setup not holding down the button is actually a good thing. Let's say that you change the setup and realize you got something stuck in between the seat and the center console and something somewhere starts cracking. You can simply release the button and prevent something getting broken. So it's a safety feature also. I personally have no memory seats in my Merc, neither electric steering wheel position and I'm happy with it as I am the only user for the car and don't have to mess with setups anyway but I think that's the logic behind the function being how it is.
If the sat nav you have is audio20/garmin take the sd out and update on a pc and you will have speed limits etc. Plus the sat nav info is a lot more detailed
You can skip tracks from any screen. Hit the >> below the touchpad, and stroke up and down on the touchpad to skip up and down tracks. Make SURE you have the latest software on the car, and at least 3 of your issues will be fixed. These will be speed limit in nav, track control in the media, outside of the media app, and carplay and android play added.

I have the 2017 and it shows me the speed limit and how far till my next turn then it shows the exit picture when I’m approaching it
You can put the Navi directions on the dashboard and it tells you how long before the next turn 🤔
For 2:30 u can actually put the media info on the speedometer screen so u can change songs even if u aren’t in the media on the big screen
I have a question regarding if I can play the voice messages of WhatsApp while connected Bluetooth to my C300 2016? Because I’m trying that and the sound isn’t coming outside. Please any help!

Wow lol first you can change the screen that is a digital tacomiter to media then the button n the steering wheel will change song while still using navigation on m main screen , second of all you can change ALL the stuff you complained about the navigation in settings lol ,
I honestly just don’t think you understand how much technology is actually in that vehicle. I own the exact same car but it’s a 2018 and LOVE IT . again, I think you’re underestimating the whole infotainment center and just to let you know it also plays Blu-ray. I just think there’s a lot about the car that you were not told about nor understand yet I’ve owned about seven Mercedes in my life because my second Mercedes absolutely saved my life in a severe accident, I was paralyzed from the waist down for four months, but after two years, I was back walking and back to work all because of that Mercedes
I want a Mercedes 2017 e300 but I don’t know if it would be big enough for me.

I have to say something about those memory seats. Thing a situation where you are trying to adjust your seat and accidentally hit the wrong button? and it is your girl friend setup? :)... normally they are smaller than us ;) . I am not a german but I have to say that they really thing first and then they do it)

Tbh, I think holding all the way is better than going automatically, because what if you click accidentally and have to wait so you can go back?
As far as I remember with my other cars that was one touch for the memory seat the button would not work unless the car was in park. If I remember correctly when sometimes while driving I adjust my seat a little if I change my mind later on the drive I can hold the button to go back to my saved position so I guess that's a positive on this car
I have a C200 2019 and there's no thing that I hate on the car. The main thing for me that can annoy me,is how the car drives. And believe me, he's awesome.
Regarding the navigation, is that the best Mercedes can do? Google maps on an iPhone is much better.

Mercedes has horrible Navi. Especially the models from 2015-2019. Connecting your phone and using CarPlay with maps is a much better and modern feature. But even in my C300, the navigation is barely ever used. It just looks outdated.

What’s a good amount to have saved when owning this vehicle in terms of maintenance cost?
For a 5 year span you wanna have at least 20 bands in case shit goes south with anything.. it may seem excessive but I rather be safe than sorry.

recently bought a 2016 c300 and so far it's been perfectly reliable.

Mercedes-Benz C class in China has a long wheelbase version. Some people say that people in Europe and the United States do not care about the size of the rear seat（or footroom） of the car. Your words defeat this lie. Maybe I can introduce you to my Mercedes Benz E200L which has an extended wheelbase and a rear space close to that of an S-class.
I have the 2018 C300. I hate the ECO engine “Stop/Start” feature.
Turn it off. You can control that.

I do love this car and some things in this video made me so mad because you complain about things which just aren’t true but you simply don’t know better. I’m from Germany and I do work for Mercedes,I don’t build the car itself but the seats tho.
Firstly you say that you dislike the Navi not showing the speed limit. It would show the limit if you wouldve ordered the option for it. You can order a Camera which would be placed in front of the back mirror and it would recognize traffic signs such as speed limits and show you in your Navi. It’s not Mercedes fault you didn’t order that. The Headup Display would btw solve your problems about not showing the distance you still have to drive not being shown because in the HUD it would show it. Also if you had the Headup display,it would show you your mp/h so you could change the mph graphic in the cockpit to the media Interface and then you could always change the title of the music since the other 3 options don’t seem to be enough for you.
Also you complain about the passenger headrest not moving,this is not a thing. Idk how this happened the previous owner maybe made the memory seats himself and effed up or something really idk but the headrest in my car does also move for the passengers. Also the thight extension is not possible to order for the driver but not for the passenger. Might it be the previous owner bought an used seat and installed it and that’s why the thight extension and headrest doesn’t work? Really that’s not normal.
I wouldn’t be german if I was done now. So another thing. You say it annoys you that you have to press and hold the memory seats. Brah imagine driving that car as a friend of the owner and you don’t have your position saved. Then you are driving on the highway and by mistake you hit the 2 and it starts completely changing your position and maybe even start squeezing you because a smaller person has his options on 2 and not that you first would have to stop the process,you could also not simply and fast Change back to your position if it’s not saved yet. Yah I guess I forgot some parts but that’s enough for now. I don’t want to offend or „hate“ you/your video. I just got so mad that you blame such a beautiful car for things which aren’t true or you didn’t really understand.

I want to let you know that this car was purchased in Canada brand new from a Benz dealer and I am the first owner.
In the beginning of the video I stated that this was a dealer lot car and if I ordered it I would have picked some extra options but I did not have the time to wait.
Now the camera behind the rear view mirror you are talking about may be an option with the intelligent drive package in Canada but when I was buying this car I could not find one with the must options that I wanted that had the intelligent drive option. Currently I also drive a 2020 GLC with that option and I can tell you that the sign recognition does not work always in Canada. I also had no interest in the heads up display. When it comes to the media controls I have gotten used to it now but it wasn't easy after driving many cars in the past that had title change right on the steering wheel. The headrest did not move electrically for the passenger seat since day one so the button is fake and the passenger seat does not have memory either, maybe another option I am missing who knows since option packages might be different in other countries. When it comes to the memory seat I choose my setting before getting in if someone else drove the car. The other makes I had the memory seat was one touch and it was really convenient. Maybe if those cars were on drive it would disable the memory button until it's in park so you made a good point. I do love Mercedes that is why I have two 2020 GLC300, 2018 C300 and 2018 GLA250 on my driveway. This video was mainly tiny things that I did not like about the car after coming from another brand.
The headrest is also an option… I’d think you working in mb should know that, also I hate the fact that you pay houndreds of dollars and you don’t have all the options? Plus let’s not talk about reliability nowadays this cars last only while their guarantee last I don’t know what’s worst mb bmw or Peugeot 😂 I love mb cars but they are faaaar from being perfect especially the ones made in North America
@@ricardocorrea5938 The Headrest is NOT an option. You can choose between an electric or a manual seat adjusting only. You cant have memory seats without fully electrical seats because how would you use the memory function if the seat is not electrical? If You have memory you automatically have a fully electrical seat. But watching this again I saw that something with the whole passenger seat of that car is wrong. He cannot have memory function with that kind of headrest AND he has no thigh extension on the passengers side,this also wouldnt make sense if this was a real Memory seat because the memory function could also not adjust the thigh extension position if its not electrical and also why would the electrical adjusting even have buttons for headrest and thigh extension if it doesnt has the function. This is a mechanically Seat with a fake/aftermarket memory function in the door, nothing else.
It's a turbo and plastic parts now. -END. (The old Cheap 300.....at least it isn't an A) Jeep Cherokee....okay. this was an upgrade. The song navigation for years since 2003 with Mercedes has been so annoying.
